Time to put her in harness….

“Have you ever taken meeting minutes, Charlotte?”

She looks at me directly; an open look in the eye which I like. There’s nothing either subservient or overbearing about her, just a statement that this is who she is. “No, I haven’t,” she says.

“You’re starting now. I want you to sit in on this.”

She nods and turns away, looking pleased, then, gathering up a notebook and pen, takes a seat while the other members assemble.

The meeting is nothing special; a simple progress update from the various departments, but I want to see what she’ll produce….

Keep your mind on the job, man…. She’s one little girl….

…. Just because she looks like your wife….

And while the contract is not yet signed, I want James to start taking up his duties as a director.

Perhaps my radar was just picking up on their ‘special relationship’….

And I have one of those of my own….
