Kapitel 25: Fading Existence

Malik

Malik had gone straight to Balthazar manor that was upstate in the quieter part of New York. Their mansion was more hidden, deep in the woods. He pounded on the front door and a maid in a French maid outfit opened the door. Alfred and Alec and appeared behind her, the fog dissipating around them. “Malik! To what do we owe this pleasure?”

“Your quarrel is with me, leave them out of this.” Malik growled.

Alec grinned ear to ear and laughed, “Oh Malik, what kind of hosts would we be if we didn’t offer our surprise guest a drink?” he pushed the maid toward him.

Malik looked at them with spitefulness in his gaze as he grabbed the maid. He bit straight into her throat, clenching his teeth around her windpipe and tore her throat out. He shoved her dead body to the floor and spit her flesh out onto her. Alec and Alfred looked unshaken. “Well that’s not polite.” Alfred clicked his tongue and shook his head. “Haven’t you reached your quota for the year?”
