At the cafeteria, the eight girls sat down together, eating and chit chatting.
They were laughing,because of the incident that took place that night.
"I didn't even realize when I threw my books away",Gracious said, drinking from a glass of juice.
"Same with me. I threw your books without even thinking",Treasure also said.
Christiana took a Spoon from her food, took a sip from her glass and said, "It was God that saved those girls from our hands. Who knows what we would have done to them".
"I was planning on squeezing that Ugly rude girl, that kept on scoffing like a turkey",Abigail said.
"Oh!, do you mean.... Excuse(scoffs) me(scoffs),how(scoffs),dare(scoffs),you(scoffs) question (scoffs) mark(scoffs)",Ganiyat mimicked.
The girls laughed.
Ife then said, thinking about the old lady, "I feel so sad for that old lady.
She's so old for this job".
"Tell me about it.How can the school allow such an old woman to work like this?
It's terrible.
If I had the power,i won't spare the person in charge",Adeola said, feeling sorry for the old lady.
Then they became silent.
Blessing saw how dull and moody they were. So she said,lifting up their spirit again, "But we made the sweet old lady happy, by collecting her beautiful crystals.
I have so many plans for that crystal. I'm glad that she was selling it".
The others agreed.
Treasure recurred when Blessing said something about a superhero design.
Curious to know, she asked, "Sorry.. Are you an art student? ".
Blessing looked at Treasure. She then replied, "Yes.. I'm an art student ".
"O M G!!, I knew it, but I wasn't sure.
You had said something about em...em your superhero design right? ",Adeola asked, looking curious.
Blessing nodded.
"Splendid!! I'm also an art student! ".
"I'm an Art student too",Ife said.
Treasure hummed and said, looking at the three of them, "So we have three art students here.
I suppose you're a commercial student? ".
She faced Christiana and asked.
Christiana then said, placing both her hands on Ganiyat and Abigail, "Not just me,..but the three of us".
"Yeah, yeah! ",Ganiyat cheered.
"We make money sisters!!! ",Abigail cheered as well.
Gracious chuckled and said, looking at Treasure, "So that means the both of us are in science! Best day ever".
Treasure cheered too.
The girls were so engrossed in their new found friendship, that they forgot to introduce themselves well. It was Blessing that made the intro, thanks to her Aunty.
They were still chatting and laughing, when Blessing heard her name.
"Blessing dear!!! ",Aunty Onome called out.
On hearing her voice, Blessing remembered that she was supposed to sit with her Aunty and eat.
She covered her face and groaned, saying, "Oh my creativity!!, I forgot! ".
"Your name is Blessing? ",Ife asked.
Blessing dropped her hands down and said, nodding her head, "Yes I'm Blessing".
Ife smiled and said, "I'm Ifeoluwa.In short, Ife".
The others introduced themselves as well.
While the intro was going on, the crystal in Blessing's bag began to glow and float.
The same was happening to the others. But none of them knew.
"How funny. We forgot to introduce ourselves ",Ganiyat said.
"But now we know each others name.
This is great.
I now have new friends ",Adeola said,with a cheerful smile on her face.
They all became pleased that they were friends now.
"Blessing! ",Aunty Onome called out again.
"Oops!!, I have to go.
See you guys tomorrow. Bye",Blessing said, and waved her hand.
The others did the same.
As soon as Blessing moved away from the table, and headed towards her Aunty, the crystal in her bag stopped glowing, and it dropped immediately.
The same thing also happened with the others too.
Aunty Onome held Blessing's hand like a small girl and said, "Come on dear, let's go to our room. Tomorrow is a big day".
Blessing found her smile weird, but she didn't mind.
She saw it as one of Aunty Onome's sweet side.
Then they left the cafeteria.
When they were far from the cafeteria,almost close to the other side of the castle,Aunty said with a happy tone of voice, "WAW!!, today you and your new friends showed those girls their place. I'm impressed ".
"Yeah you should be. If care wasn't taken, I would have jumped on that wicked girl, scratch he'd her face and... "
WHAM!!!
"Ouch!!!! ",Blessing screamed and rubbed her head fast.
Aunty Onome had slapped her on the head.
"What was that for? ".
Aunty Onome then said, looking angry"You would have jumped on her and scratched her brain na.
Don't you know that those girls aren't ordinary students? "
"What's so special about them?
In my own observation, they look way too ordinary.They must be Golden castle's troublemakers ",Blessing said, squeezing her face.
Aunty Onome groaned and said, "Those two are presidents of their departments.
The one that you and your super friends comfronted,is the president of the Business department. And the other one is the president of the Humanity department.
You don't want to get on their black book girl".
"Oh my creativity!! ",Blessing gasped in shock.
Aunty Onome thought she had given some sense to Blessing, but she was wrong.
Blessing said, looking up to the sky, as if she was praying, "Who was dump enough to have made those two monkeys president "
"What?! ",Aunty Onome is dazed.
"And the worst part of it, is that Miss Rude face is the president of the Humanity department. God!!, give the head mistress of Golden castle sense".
"shut up!! ",Aunty Onome closed her mouth with her hand.
Blessing mumbled through her hand, as she frowned at Aunty Onome.Who then said, releasing her, "If someone hears you, then you're in trouble.
You've already dig your own grave by confronting them,you and your friends.
Just pray that they don't get back at you"
She warned.
Blessing chuckled and said, "Oh Pls!!
What can two small ants, do to eight mighty ladies?
WAW!!, Mighty ladies!!. I think I'll write a story on that ".
Aunty Onome groaned and placed her hands on her head.
She didn't know how to knock some senses into Blessing's head.
"Let's just go, I'm tired",she said and began to walk.
"It's okay if you're tired, but listen to story on the Eight mighty ladies".
"Pls don't.. "
"In a land.. filled with ugly faces and stupid presidents.... ",she began.
"No!!! ",Aunty Onome screamed and began to run.
"....the Golden castle was ruled by eight powerful ladies!!! ",Blessing shouted while chasing her.
Meanwhile, in a dark unknown castle, the beast, which had gone to the golden castle, to see what was happening, marched into the dark castle .
The beast reached a door, where two Demon bats, guarded it with seriousness.
On seeing the beast, they opened the door and allowed the beast to enter.
Inside the room, sat a dark figure, with a smokey hair. Her finger nails were long, as she pierced them into the worms she was eating.
The beast cane before her and bowed.
"My Queen",the beast greeted in respect.
The dark Queen turned to the direction of the beast. Showing off her red eyes, that glowed in the dark like Lava.
She smiled on seeing the beast and asked, still eating the worms, "How many are they now?"
"They are more than two hundred in the castle my Queen",the beast reported.
The dark Queen laughed,licking her fingers in happiness .
"The headmistress is a stubborn woman. Despite the warning she received from her staffs and outsiders, she's determined to make her work a success ".
"If she's looking for trouble, then it's trouble she'll get",the dark Queen said, flinging the bowl of worms to the ground.
She sat on her throne with pride and said, "Five hundred years ago, I showed the Alphas their place, by killing all of them".
She stands up and begins to walk towards the beast.
"My wrath came on the Golden castle One hundred years ago, when they thought they could out smart me.
Don't even think about restoring the castle's glory, or face the consequences. That was my warning "
She placed her hand on the beast's shoulder.
"Now... A bloody being wants to challenge me, by going against my order. Well she shouldn't worry at all".She looks at the frightened beast.
Then she said, removing her hand from the beast slowly, "The same way I killed the Alphas..., is the same way I'll kill that Pest of mistress.
Let's see who dares to stop me afterwards ".
The beast nods and said, "She'll pay for her actions ".
"Keep an eye on the castle, and report to me the headmistress' final decision ",she said.
"As it please my Queen ".
The beast immediately left the dark castle.
The next day at the Golden castle, Blessing was at the library.
She had come in early, in search for a book, filled with pictures and monsters.
She was planning on creating a comic on the mighty ladies.
She took the crystal along with her, so that she could find a monster or a super being, that would march the crystal.
Just then, the librarian walked up to her and took her by the arm.
"Ya..ouch!!
Madam what have I done? ",she asked, looking at her.
"You little thief!
Do you think I won't catch you? ",the librarian said.
"Say what now?!
Who are you calling a thief?
I didn't steal anything ",Blessing defended herself.
The librarian yawned and said, showing Blessing her bag, "Most of the history books are in your bag, including my favorite cooking book".
"How did that get there? ",Blessing was shocked.
"Well tell that to the headmistress. Come here".
"No wait!!
You got it all wrong madam! ",Blessing screamed.
The Librarian pulled Blessing out of the library,in front of other students.
Little did she know that Ella was there.
She was pleased by her work.
"And there goes the eighth monkey, straight to the headmistress office".
At the office, the librarian dragged Blessing into the headmistress' office.
She was about to defend herself again in front of the librarian, when she saw her friends, inside the office.
She was stunned.
"Oh my creativity!!
You guys are here too? ".
"Hey!! ",yelled the headmistress.
Blessing shivered and faced her.
"Join them",she said.
Blessing moved closer to her friends and looked at their faces, as they all looked confused.
That's when Ella and Hannah cane in.
"Good morning Madam Elizabeth ",they both greeted like angels.
"Good morning girls, how are you? "
"Fine ma"
The eight girls frowned.
"I should have known.
This snakes are responsible ",Adeola said in a whisper to the others.
The headmistress sat down properly well on her chair,and faced the eight girls.
She was looking mean and wicked.
She said, "Your second day in the Golden castle,.. and the eight of you are already showing your colours".
Ella and Hannah laughed silently.
"Sorry for interrupting headmistress, but what's our crime? ",Ganiyat asked.
The headmistress frowned her face at them, and said to Hannah, "They're pretending as if they don't know what crime they have committed.
Tell them Hannah"
"Yes ma",Hannah said like an innocent girl.
She cleared her throat and began, "Two students had seen Ganiyat,Christiana and Abigail, beating up some girls up"
"What? ",the three of them exclaimed in shock.
"The girls were rushed to the castle clinic, because of the injuries they sustained.
Gracious and Treasure were caught, disposing the labs chemicals, into the dustbin, and hiding the broken equipments which they broke".
"What nonsense? ",Treasure shouted.
"Unbelievable! ",Gracious yelled angrily.
"Adeola and Ife over here,violated the castles rules,and went into the boys hostel"
"How disgusting!! ",Adeola sparked
"This is a lie!!",Ife said furiously.
"And Miss monkey face over here.. "
Blessing's eyes became wide"Who are you calling monkey face?
Wait till I... "
"Quiet!! ",the headmistress Shouted.
Hannah then proceeded, "Blessing here stole some of the library books and even the librarian's book".
The eight of them couldn't believe their ears.
The headmistress thanked Ella and Hannah. Then she faced the girls.
"So... What do you have to say? ",she asked.
All of a sudden, the eight of them began to shout and complain about the false accusations laid on them.
Christiana then said, getting the headmistress attention, "I have never hurt anyone in my life. But if it's a matter of my respect, I won't hesitate to break these two broomsticks into pieces".
"Enough!! ",the headmistress silenced them .
They became quiet.
"I don't have time to listen to your rubbish.
I'll leave my two presidents... "
"For which country?! ",Christiana asked, looking round.
"Under bridge NA. You no know",Treasure said.
The eight of them almost busted into laughter.
But they became silent, on seeing the headmistress eyes.
Then she completed her statement, "My two presidents will decide your punishment ".
"This is cheating",Abigail complained.
"For something we did not do?
No problem ",Gracious added.
Ella smiled happily, along side Hannah.
the headmistress asked, "What kind of punishment do you want them to face? "
Hannah began to think of what to give them.
But Ella was prepared.
Quickly, she said, "The eight of them will have to spend their time, cleaning the castle's old store room"
Hannah was amazed by her friends idea.
The headmistress was shocked.
The eight girls thought it was just a small store room, but the headmistress made them realize that they were dealing with something big.
"Isn't that too harsh on them?
The old store room is big and occupies three rooms in the hostel".
Shocked, the girls began to imagine how big the store room must be.
"According to my calculations, combination of three big rooms,equals to our old age",Gracious said.
"Yes madam Elizabeth.
If they don't do this, how will they learn their lessons? ",Hannah asked.
without thinking about it, she agreed.
The eight of them almost collapsed.
"We're done for? ",Ife cried.
"Now I understand what that conductor meant by dying fast",Blessing recurred.
Without hesitating, The eight of them were asked to follow Elka and Hannah to the store room.
As soon as the eight of them stepped out of the office, with Ella and Hannah following, Hannah asked Ella in a whisper, "Tell me..where did you come up with such a plan?
I must say, it's great".
"Well don't thank me. Thank that Old crystal seller.
I overheard her complaining to the other cleaners about the old store room. They were all afraid to
clean such a big store, that could take forever.
So I took advantage of that, and gave it as a punishment to this monkeys",Ella bragged.
Hannah praised her intelligence, as they followed the eight girls.
Little did they know that the old lady was watching.
She hid behind a pillar, as she laughed Ella and Hannah, for thinking that they were smart.
"You two don't know that you've helped me, by sending those girls to the store room.
Soon, everyone would be shocked,when they see history, repeating itself again ".
She was so excited by this.
