Kapitel 357: A Shocker

Ruby doodled on Seth's bare chest, tracing his muscles with her finger. She had dreamt of this day many times in the past when Seth had been taken from her – and now that it was here, now that she had Seth in her arms, it felt surreal.

"Thress is dead, right?"

Ruby's eyes went to Seth's face instantly. "How did you know that?" she asked.

"I saw him on the other side…"

"Hmm…" Ruby hummed. "The vermin escaped my hands…"

"Did he really? I doubt he escaped your hands, Ruby…" Seth said with emphasis on the 'hands'. He continued with a chuckle; "After what you did to him… he sure didn't escape those lovely yet deadly hands of yours."

"Seth! I didn't want him to die like that… I still wanted him around… I know you will not understand where I'm coming from…"

"Oh I do," Seth said. "You thought him dying would-"

"Your Majesty!"

Seth looked Ruby deep in her eye as they heard the scream from outside the chambers.
