Kapitel 199: The Fourth Target

Even though I had no point asking her these questions, it was better to have some information than none since she would tell me about things as long as it's not related directly to the contract. I was trying to extract as much intel as I could so that I could use them later.

"So Devil-chan… these targets, they are just an empty container for the souls, right?" With a slight pause I asked as she replied with a soft hum, "Yes…"

My gaze was on a random girl passing by me, as I looked towards her and asked, "What if that girl gets a soul inside her?" As Lilith didn't reply, I added, "Will she become a target, then?"

"It's not that simple." After a while of silence, she replied in a hesitant tone, and I prodded her to continue. "Eh?"

Lilith let out a slight breath, and with a soft voice, she started speaking, "Yeah… it's like trying to pour 5 litre water in a 2 litre bottle."
