Kapitel 55: Apple for your Cutie Trouble...
"I call it...The OverSpinner!" Shouted Rainbow excitedly, as she raised into the sky. Then When she was around a hundred meters into the air, she rushed downwards while spinning, creating bigger and bigger circles that caused the air in the middle to create a miniature cyclone.
Starfall found the spectacle very impressive, and he especially enjoyed observing the Pegasi magic that the Mare used during her performance, without even knowing about it.
She performed a bunch of other stunts and each one of them have Starfall an insight into the Pegasi magic In other ways that he never previously thought possible!
"That was amazing Rainbow!" He exclaimed truthfully, as rainbow landed beside Starfall while breathing heavily.
She wore a large grin that only increased when she heard his praise.
"Thanks! I get that a lot! Now you can se how awesome I am!" She proclaimed partially joking.
"Haha! Yes, That's true!" He said with a laugh as they got into chat about flying and magic.
At first Rainbow wasn't interested in the magic stuff but slowly her interest got piqued when He mentioned that she was using magic during her entire flight and if she learned to control it, she could probably become even cooler and faster!
At the end of his explanation Rainbow was practically begging him to teach her and he was more than happy to oblige If she was going to listen to his lectures.
It might take a long time before she actually figured it out even with his help, but he knew that she was very ambitious and wasn't going to let go of an opportunity for improvement in the thing that she loves, which was flying.
The thing that made him laugh was when Rainbow started to behave almost like Twilight when she found a new interesting topic to learn, asking a lot of questions and listening to his every word attentively, and she didn't even realize when they reached a restaurant and Starfall ordered them some food and a bottle of Apple Cider...
She only got back to herself when she smelled the drink under her nose, and only then did it register with her that she was absentmindedly chatting with Starfall when they sat at a relatively romantic dinner for her standards.
She became embarrassed which only increased with the realization that she was actually on a Date and she was enjoying herself so much that she didn't realize it...
Starfall found the entire situation hilarious but he didn't laugh at her because he wanted her to enjoy the experience, and he liked to see the unusual blush adorning her current face.
The Date went well In Starfall's opinion, though a food eating competition in the middle certainly wasn't something he expected to happen, but it was certainly better than the Cider drinking competition that was Rainbow's original idea.
Starfall decided to go easy on the poor misguided soul, and finally agreed to a tie after their fourth serving of Triplehoove's Hayburgers, because Rainbow looked ready to vomit from overeating.
She generously agreed to the idea after proclaiming that she would have won but she didn't want to embarrass him which made both of them laugh. Yeah...That's Rainbow for you...
And with a bloated stomaches and a slight shake in their step The duo left the establishment while enjoying the evening.
"I had *hick* A lot of fun today Starfall..." Said Rainbow Dash as she leaned her head on his shoulder.
They were sitting on a bench back in the park and just enjoyed the moment, waiting for the effects of the alcohol and the mountains of food to subside...
"Indeed...I also had a lot of fun Rainbow... I regret not taking you anywhere sooner... It's just I-"
"It's alright Starfall!*hick* I know how busy you are all the time. With being most likely the greatest magical inventor since that Starswirl guy, and with already having four Mares, I can understand you being constantly preoccupied. *hick* But what important is here and now." She said snuggling into his shoulder, surprising Starfall with how deep her speech wandered.
Rainbow wasn't usually the one for mushy stuff and deep emotional and psychological talks, and he didn't think that it was just from the alcohol. Seems like she really opened up a part of her real thoughts without acting all cool and collected.
In the end, she was still a normal girl with emotions and dreams, and seeing as her muzzle slowly moved closer towards his own, one of her dreams was apparently going to be fulfilled in just a moment.
Their lips met in the middle, Rainbow kissing Starfall with just as much ferocity as Starfall returned towards her, and it felt much better that the kiss they shared during one of their sleepovers. This one felt more real. More personal.
And it made Rainbow shed a tear of happiness that she quickly wiped off so that no one saw her crying. She was the though one here after all...
The kiss came to an end but they stayed in eachother's embrace and looked at eachother with smiles at n their faces.
"Could you...Take me home?... I'm not sure I can get up there after drinking this much Cider..." Said Rainbow with a blush, and Starfall instantly knew her true Intentions.
After all, she didn't drink that much and the effects should have already subsided for the most part, but he played along and lifted both of them using a spell before they soared through the sky in the direction of her cloud home...

Apple Bloom was already getting desperate. The Party was happening in only thirty minutes and she still didn't have a Cutie Mark! What was she going to do?! Even Twist got a Cutie Mark so why can't she?!
"Umm...Hey? Apple Bloom? Is something wrong?" Suddenly a voice from behind her startled the little filly and caused her to fall out from the bushes in which she totally wasn't hiding a few seconds ago...
"S-Spike?! What are you doing here?!" She asked surprised picking herself up, when she saw the little dragon looking at her funny. Her cheeks blushed slightly seeing him with a cute bow tie attached to his neck.
"Well I'm waiting for Sweetie Bell actually. She's taking her "Sweet" time getting ready for the party so she asked me to go ahead. It's good to see you though, although I don't think a bush is a good waiting place." He joked causing Apple Bloom to blush harder.
"It's-it's not like this! I'm just..." She slumped and Spike became worried about his friend.
"Hey whatever it is you can tell me Bloom. We're friends, right?" He said quickly, tiptoeing towards her with his claw placed on her shoulder.
She looked at the small Dragon and for a moment felt really jealous of Sweetie Belle, for having such a nice and caring colt-uhh.. boyfriend.
But she also felt warm realising that Spike had her back and she was happy to have him as a friend...for now...
"Ahh...It's just... I'm not sure if you're going to understand me Spike...This party... Diamond Tiara is celebrating getting her Cutie Mark and she already had it for a while and I can already tell that she's going to show it off in my face all the time...After all, almost Everypony in class already have one, and I..." She looked ashamed at her flank that had no mark visible on her coat, only to flinch slightly, feeling Spike's claw gently stroking her side.
"I admit that I don't really understand being the "scary" dragon that I am, but I get where you're coming from Bloom. But you seem to have forgotten that you aren't alone in this inquietude." He said with a grin making Apple Bloom pout slightly.
"I don't really understand what you just said, though I'm glad that you're there for me Spike... but You're a Dragon and they don't get Cutie Marks so-" She was Interrupted by Spike putting a claw on her lips.
"You seem to have misunderstood me Apple Bloom. Yes, I'm always there for you If you need me and I don't care if you have some magic tattoo on your butt or not..." Apple Bloom giggled despite herself hearing his blunt words."...But I was talking about someone else. After all I'm not your only friend!..." He said moving to the side revealing a pair of Fillies Listening to their conversation with curiosity.
"Wha-Girls! What are you doing here?!" Asked Apple Bloom seeing Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell standing to the side and smiling at their friend.
"Hia Bloom! Hey Spike!" Said Scootaloo enthusiastically.
"Hey Apple Bloom!" Added Sweetie Belle before giving Spike a a cute smile and turning back to The little farm pony.
"I was just going to meet up with Spike before going to the party as he invited me to go together, but I came across Scoots so I invited her to join us." Said Sweetie Belle smiling.
"Oh...I see..." Said Apple Bloom a bit awkwardly, but Scootaloo just snorted and wrapped her hoof over her shoulder.
"Come on Bloom! No need to worry! We're friends right?! And none of us have a Cutie Mark so if Diamond Tiara tries picking on you, well be there to support you!" Said Scootaloo making Apple Bloom finally sprout a smile as she followed the two Fillies and a dragon into the Sugarcube Corner.
Then a thoughtful expression appeared as she was walking into the the establishment.
'None of us have Cutie Marks huh...' An idea grew inside of her head, and somehow she could feel that it was going to be a lot of fun...
Somewhere inside of the pony a wisp of colorful magic stirred. It was still not ready to show itself but at the moment the magical symbol of an apple that until now had been infused within the magic started to slowly blur and change. Similar with the two other Fillies that she was following.
It was something that a certain Unicorn researcher would certainly find interesting if or when he actually lays his eyes on the trio...But at the moment said unicorn was busy having fun with a certain colorful Pegasus, so he was unable to observe the change itself...
