Kapitel 142: Ghost Night, Part 9

Before leaving the scene, Edgar looked at the corpse of the former maid. He raised his hand and offered a prayer. "Please forgive me ..." then he went in the opposite direction to Azrael, he had to protect Abigail at all costs.

The mysterious hero, Azrael, resumed his way, leaving the scene and headed towards the cemetery.

The undead around him kept a respectable distance.

It was strange for Edgar; he had never seen the undead act like this. But he had no time to lose, he had to help the last defenders.

Azrael arrived at the entrance to the walled cemetery after a few minutes. Its sturdy walls were intact, but the hinges that held the massive iron-lined wooden doors had been completely ripped away. The doors smashed as if something massive had crashed into them.
