The next day, Kieran set things in  motion. 

Messages were posted round the kingdom notifying the citizens of the removal of the current magistrates and council members. 

A list of people who were being considered for the positions were posted and the citzens were given a chance to decide on who they wanted. 

What surprised them the most was that some of the candidates chosen were less privileged.

A notice informing the public of the investigation unit's visit to their homes in two days was announced. Those who chose to be a part of the process of choosing the new magistrates and council members were to remain at home. Guards would be positioned at various points in the kingdom to avoid anyone being bullied into making a choice that was not theirs. There would also be a committee set up by the king himself for the people to report the magistrates and council members who would wrong them.
