"But there is something you must know if we're going to be friends. " Clarissa said. "You need to get along with my friends. They will always be a part of my life including Leonard despite what I feel for him."

It annoyed Kieran that she was right. If Clarissa was ever going to truly trust him, then he would have to make sure he didn't have issues with her friends and family. 

"It's a deal." He stood up wanting to leave the room but Clarissa stopped him. 

"Kieran you still haven't told me what Raven meant when he said Mr Nelson was being investigated."

Raven and his big mouth. 

"We're just checking to see if he possibly had anything to do with the dark witches getting to you."

"He didn't have a hand in that. I can assure you of that. I told them I'd talk to you about the complaints they made and nothing more." she defended. 

"We just want to be sure they didn't manipulate you into buying the things you did."
