"Hey!" she protested feeling his hand around her waist. 

"Put on your hood."

"Why?" Even as she asked she heard voices coming from the room. Now that she thought about it, this looked like her father's balcony.  She quickly pulled on the hood.

The voices were getting closer and they sounded so familiar. She felt her eyes sting and did everything to keep the tears at bay. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this emotional. Being away from her father was affecting her badly. 

When he came into view with Logan right behind him, She had to hold herself from running to hug him. But she knew she couldn't even if she tried. Kieran's hold on her was strong, almost like he expected her to make a run for it.
