Kapitel 137: Chapter 137: Enjoying Spain

The next day, Luke and Bella flew to Madrid.  T-Nathan would join them there three days later.  Seizing the opportunity for a mini-vacation, they made and paid for their own arrangements, and they spent three days simply enjoying the city.  They visited art galleries, relaxed over coffee and people-watched, and relished in each other.

They awoke the morning of the fourth day, sunlight pouring into the room from the floor to ceiling window overlooking the courtyard of the hotel.  Bella cuddled up to Luke and kissed his neck gently.  “Good morning, Cowboy,” she said.

“Good morning to you, beautiful,” he replied, yawning.  He launched into David Lee Roth’s Just a Gigolo.    Bella giggled appreciatively.  Lately, Luke had begun to greet her with a different song every morning and she loved it.

“Guess we’d better get moving,” she said.

“Confession,” he said, eying her seriously.  “I’ve gotten used to having you to myself.  I don’t think I’m going to like sharing you with anybody.”
