Kapitel 12: I'm Yours, Rescue Me

On what appeared to be the back stairways of a concert hall or studio, Cyd stood on the second-floor landing, looking down at a group of wildly excited women. She leaned out of the railings to see what the commotion was all about and heard one of them exclaim the name ‘Kwon Sang Woo.' Cyd tried to think of where she heard that name and then remembered that it was the name of the Korean actor who starred in the 2003 Korean hit drama series 'Stairway to Heaven'. Two years later, that name still sent many women’s pulses racing at its mere mention. And though Cyd was not a fan, she suddenly felt excited to see the handsomely popular actor in person.

Containing the crowd was becoming difficult, and the security personnel assigned to guard the stairs were struggling to keep everyone from going up. Cyd wondered how she ended up on the floor above and guessed that it was probably connected with the work that she was doing. What kind of work was she doing exactly? She wondered.
