Kapitel 127: Something's Wrong

Tonight was the night. Beleth could waste no more time. He had to give Beatrice the black book and have her sell her soul once more. He prayed she would or their lives and everyone else on Earth could possibly be doomed. He stood in the center of the pentagon etched on the stone floor in the belly of the castle where it all began. He wore only a chainlink loincloth and held the book in his hand. 

He closed his eyes and summoned Beatrice.

Beatrice was asleep in her bed when Beleth flooded her dreams. Flashes of him invaded her mental space until she could stabilize the images he was telepathically sending her. She realized he was telling her to meet him in the belly of the castle. She needed to hurry. She awoke with a start, pulled the covers back, and got out of bed.
