Kapitel 71: Breakfast

The following morning was a bright and sunny one. Beatrice hadn't slept. She had spent the majority of the night thinking about what words to use to persuade the Archbishop. This time, she hadn't wanted the marriage to Prince William. Knowing herself, she had a feeling she had not really understood the freedom that came along with a marriage like this.

The rules for a married sovereign had its benefits. The top one being freedom from the council's prying eyes. It was truly all about who you married. With Prince William by her side she knew she could win. She knew now what game she needed to play with him since he had the proclivity of portraying her when she needed him the most.
