Two days before the Wedding
"Honey?" JiU picked up the phone call from her husband to be, "Did you eat lunch today?"
"Hi baby," the male voice replied with an upbeat tone in his tone, "I did baby, but it's not the same when you're not sitting across me as usual."
"Aww, I know honey, I'll be home soon, okay?" JiU replied in the same upbeat one, "I miss you, baby."
"Nyaww, I miss you too, babycakes," the male cooed at her cute and whiny tone that followed at the end, "But you should sleep baby, isn't in late there in the US?"
"Yeah I know, just wanted to hear your voice before I sleep," JiU played with her hair as she answers the man she is madly in love with, "Good night baby, I love you."
"Goodnight baby, I love you more," the male replied gently and soothingly before JiU hangs up her phone. She beamed a big smile on her face as she stares at the front lobby of her fiance's apartment. Her scheduled flight was supposed to arrive early tomorrow morning, but since she finished things quicker than expected, she flew back a day soon to surprise her fiance with a gift before their wedding day.
She exits her car and immediately went her way to the lobby. The manager bowed with a smile as she entered the building since she regularly visits whenever she has the time. Knowing her way to the elevators, in no time, she is already on her way up to her fiance's apartment. With a bag of gifts in her right hand, she is beaming with a bright smile as she tapped in the code to her fiance's apartment. She tiptoed into the studio to surprise her fiance since she knows at this hour, he usually takes a short nap before going back to his work.
She tiptoed towards his room, and seeing it opened ajar, revealing her fiance shirtless with a duvet covering his lower half, he is leaning back against the headboard with both his arms as a cushion for his head. She was about to enter and surprise him when she noticed that he was smirking and looking away from the door. She was curious.
As if on cue, her curiosity finds its answer. A woman in red hair, stark naked, approached her fiance, and straddled his lap. Their lips, like magnets, crashed unto each other as they share a heated kiss. JiU was shocked beyond belief. She stepped back with her free hand clutching her mouth to fight back the tears and dropped everything before she ran for the door. Not caring if heard or not, all she wanted was to leave that apartment.

NOW
With a start, JiU felt someone pats her shoulder and later hugging her close, "Minji-ah, are you okay?" it was Tiffany calling her by her maiden name that only her closest knows. Stroking her back gently, JiU finally came back to reality from that awful flashback.
"Mhmm, I'm okay now," JiU smiled, trying to hide that pain that still lingers anytime his name or any of his gifts would appear by her doorstep. Tiffany gently placed JiU's head on her shoulder as she caressed her best friend's shoulder.
"All is taken care of," Tiffany leaned her head onto JiU's as she talks, "I made sure that every security in and out of the building to learn the name of that asshole, and never receive anything associated with that name."
JiU took a deep breath as she wraps her arms around her best friend's waist to finally released a sigh of relieve, "Thank you Miyoung-ah, I thought I had it under control until I saw his name again on that sender info and everything falls apart just like that."
"Shush, forget that asshole, okay?" Tiffany pulled away to squish her best friend's cheek, "I ordered one bucket of Belgian Chocolate ice cream just the way you like, and damn you look ugly with your face squished like this."
"Yeah... you're the one ugly," JiU pulled away and shared a short but good laugh with her best friend, "Gumawo-yo Miyoung-ah, I'm fortunate to have you as my best friend."
"Yeah, I know so you better treat me right," Tiffany flipped her hair to show how sassy she is before laughing again with JiU.
Tiffany has been JiU's best friend since they were elementary students. Being through thick and thin together, they were both inseparable that even JiU's family consider as a part of the family. Whenever JiU loses her calm, Tiffany always finds out a way to help JiU cope. JiU's break up with her fiance was the lowest she had ever been, but she was able to bounce back better through the help of her family and Tiffany, who played a big part. JiU is happy with the people she surrounded herself with after her incident two years ago.

Soohyun and Gray arrived at his family's mansion with tensed up expressions plastered on their faces. One of the rarest moments to have been called by Soohyun's father. Almost next to never, this incident will not occur unless it is something severe. Soohyun's father is one of the most strict and discipline bosses when it comes to work to which Soohyun finds ridiculous since there is no fun in such a way to do work. Soohyun does admire her father's approach towards his job, but it is something that he doesn't wish to do since, to him, it is quite the hassle.
Upon entering the two-story castle-like mansion, Soohyun and Gray receive warm greetings by several maids. Gray stopped to bow back in response to the maids while Soohyun just walked pass through like there is no one there. Gray shook his head after seeing his best friend walk passed without giving any consent to the maids honoring his arrival.
Soohyun arrived at the living room to be greeted by his mother and little brother, Minho. Minho and Soohyun are very close as brothers since they were kids; each of them has high respect for each other. He approached the latter to give his mom and brother a hug. "What happened, Hyung?" Minho looked at his older brother, "Father was very upset."
"What did you do this time, Soohyun-ah?" his mother tapped his head with a knuckle, "Your father didn't talk to anyone, even me."
Soohyun gulped at his mother's comment. It is almost like common knowledge in the mansion that when Mr. Kim decides not to talk to his wife, it means that things have taken a whole new level of rage. At that point, it is almost a human experience to anyone who will suffer the tail end of the situation. "Don't worry bro, eomma," Soohyun winked towards them, "Everything will be under control pretty soon, trust me."
After assuring his mother and brother as an attempt also to calm his wits, Soohyun entered his father's study along with Gray after he exchanged a few greetings with Soohyun's mother and brother. The study is almost like a mini hall of a library with a big desk in the front center of the room and two huge sofas along with a rectangular shaped oak wood coffee table. They're sitting at the big office chair is Soohyun's father throwing death glares towards his son at each step, and to his side is his father's right-hand man, Shin Sung-rok. Soohyun has never liked his father's right-hand man since this man was the individual who disagrees the most for Soohyun to take the seat of CEO of the company, the both of them were never on good terms. And it has been common suspicion between Gray and Soohyun that Sung-rok had sent a spy to keep tabs on him in the company.
Soohyun's father rose from his seat as Soohyun and Gray arrived in front of him with a bow. He first approached Gray and puts his right hand onto his shoulder, "How are you doing Seonghwa?" his father's tone was kind and warm towards Soohyun's best friend by calling him with his Birthname much to Soohyun's surprise, "Have you been keeping yourself healthy, son?"
Gray smiled just in kind, "I am doing very well, sir, and I am eating just as well."
Gray's made Soohyun's father smile as he pats Gray's shoulder once more, "Goodman, keep yourself healthy; we will always need someone like you to lead the company." Soohyun was in all sorts of shock at how nice his father is treating his best friend, but something about this situation makes Soohyun feel uneasy.
This time Soohyun's father placed his hands on both his shoulders, "My son," his tone was brief and warm like it was with Gray as he smiles.
"Father, I.....owwwwwwwwwwwwww," Soohyun's words are cut short as his father grabbed both his ears and twisted it, "Ahhhh Abeoji apa apa... ahhh!!"
Not stopping to Soohyun's words, he proceeded to pinch Soohyun's nipples through his shirt and twisted it the way he did to Soohyun's ear, "Ahhhhhhhuuhuhhhh Abeojiiiiii apayooo ahhhhhhhh." Everyone present in the room could only look down with a snicker or a soft chortle as the scene unraveled in front of them.
After the two painful administrations, Soohyun's father finally relieves him, "DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO ESTABLISH PARTNERSHIP WITH K INC?!!" Anger spurts out, "And because of your lack of seriousness, we have lost a multibillion-dollar dealership!"
"But father...." His words, interrupted, as his father puts his hand to cover Soohyun's mouth as if his breath smells bad.
"I do not want to hear reason, son," Soohyun's father releases his hand from his son's mouth and glares, "You are to fix this within one month, I do not care how as long as it doesn't involve illegal means, or all your assets and your position will be transferred to Minho."
"Wait. What? Father..." again, his words are taken to no consent as his father puts a finger to his lips to stop him from talking.
"Leave and get on with it, Soohyun, before I lessen your time," Soohyun's father lets go of his finger from Soohyun's lips and sighs, "You better learn to take things seriously Soohyun, or it will be too late, son." His father loved both Soohyun and Minho dearly, and he is very proud of both of them, but he just can't tolerate Soohyun's actions anymore.
Soohyun was left speechless as he and Gray bowed before turning to leave the room. All sorts of things tweaked inside his mind as they exited the door that made him stop right in front of the door. "Bro, what's wrong?" Gray stopped to look at his friend only to facepalm his face, "Oh no... I know that look, you're going to do something crazy again, aren't you?" A smirk all too familiar to Gray has appeared on Soohyun's face.
"Well bro," Soohyun walked beside Gray and put his arm on his best friend's shoulder, "Everything will be alright; you just need to trust me on this one."
"That look and my trust never go right," Gray shakes his head in dismay, "What do you plan on doing this time?"
"How do you feel about our old game, SWITCH?" Soohyun wiggled his brows towards his best friend, who earned him a groan of disapproval from his best friend.
