Running in the city is something I have almost never done in my life. It could be because it would look strange to do it in a place like that and it's not a place made for running or I was embarrassed to do it.

Still at this point I don't care much about the situation and what others think of me.

Tsubaki finished forging my new weapon and I wanted to have it in my hands so I ran out of the Twilight Manor to Tsubaki's workshop.

It's been a little while since I stopped going into the dungeon daily, however, because I still can't find something to do as a hobby or in my spare time, the dungeon solves that problem.

Of course there is the possibility of dying, but I feel normal fighting against Goblins.

After running for a while I bent my knees from exhaustion, but I was already outside Tsubaki's workshop. Catching my breath, I regained my composure and knocked on the door.

"You can come in!"

With Tsubaki's advice I opened the door and quickly saw Tsubaki who was arranging some weapons in the boxes.

"Oh, you're here midget" Tsubaki spoke with a big smile "I have your weapon ready, the time you waited was worth it for you"

"Of course!" I said without hesitation. Sometimes waiting does better than doing everything quickly.

"It's this one" Tsubaki took a sheathed sword from under the bar and handed it to me to which I took it with my two hands from both ends.

I appreciated it quite a bit and slowly took it out of its sheath. Admiring the blade and hilt, I noticed that it had no decorations and the only thing that could be considered eye-catching was its sheath.

"It is made of Damascus. A useful metal for beginner adventurers, however if you don't take care of your sword it will eventually wear down to the point of breaking or losing its edge"

"Huh?" I was surprised by her words.

"Haha, I knew you would disregard the care of a weapon after seeing your razor"

I blushed a little, but shook my head, pushing that embarrassment away and mitigating it. I have to learn not to be embarrassed by my actions or I'll end up being an easy target for some people.

"What is it that damages the sword?"

"The main thing is the blood of the monsters" Tsubaki explained to me "If you leave the blood then the weapon will rust, even the dust is able to ruin them"

"Ah"

That was definitely a very surprising piece of information she told me. I've never owned a weapon like this in my life and therefore don't know about the care they take.

This sword is part of me. In the event that it is destroyed in the dungeon I will be defenseless and my only weapon will be my body, but even so there are monsters that are resistant to blows and I will end up losing or dying.

"The blacksmiths take pride in our creations so don't make me regret helping you" Tsubaki gave me a smile which I also share one with her.

"You need not worry. This sword is now part of me so I will take care of it until I need another one or its life is over"

"Haha! Great words midget" Tsubaki patted me on the back.

"By the way, what was the price of this sword?"

"Never mind that, someone else already paid for it for you" Tsubaki made a gesture denying "Go on to try it, I can see the excitement on your face even if you're not showing it"

A slightly crazed smile grew on my face and I bowed and ran out of the Workshop to the place where I could release all my burden of the day.

The dungeon

Tsubaki sighed at the girl who was running with excitement.

It was definitely a great opportunity for Tsubaki to forge a weapon for Riku. She could have made it in a day or less, but someone had told her to take longer than expected.

"Are you sure about what you're doing?"

"Hm, that girl has great potential" A red-haired Goddess stepped out of a nearby hallway.

"Loki-sama, Gareth was nice enough with his request, but you came to tell me to do something that I even find annoying at times"

"Hay, forgive me, Tsubaki" Loki scratched her head in embarrassment "I apologize for that, but I wanted to know what Riku was doing if she doesn't concentrate on her main goal"

"In that I can't deny it" Tsubaki placed her hand on her chin "I could feel her excitement about entering the dungeon and killing the monsters, what triggers that in her?"

Loki chuckled impishly "Many things Tsubaki, however, the main reason I might consider that of a little girl in search of multiple things in her life"

"Eh, that's strange" Tsubaki frowned slightly, however shook her head and went on with her business "Do you need anything else?"

"Your breasts, but I can't get them" Loki muttered and Tsubaki looked at her in confusion at not hearing her "No, that would be all dear. See you later"

"Ah! Until next time Loki-sama!"

The trickster Goddess came out of the workshop and a smile grew on her face as she looked up at the already darkening sky.

"Show me what you can do"

Her expectations of her were very high and unknowingly the girl would grow more than she considered, but she would also fall into various abysses which she will have to overcome.

The life of the descendants.

I ran without stopping all the way across town to the Tower of Babel.

I descended the spiral staircase being careful not to bump into some adventurers who were also coming down or those who were just coming out of the dungeon after a long time.

When I entered to the first floor I searched the corridors, however, the number of monsters was very little and the monsters that were in that place were fighting with another group of adventurers.

There is a rule among adventurers that you cannot steal other people's objectives.

This can cause multiple problems and one of them is that by dividing the profits some will want more and that would end up causing problems.

That's why it's better to leave outside groups to their own devices and stick with what you have.

I continued running down to the third floor of the dungeon and looked around until I saw a group of Goblins gathered.

Slowly I walked while placing my hand on the handle of the sword and pulled it out being careful not to make any noise.

Take a deep breath and then....

"Riku is back bitches!"

With my war scream I ran towards the nearest Goblin and swung my sword down towards its head.

When the sword hit its head it did not stop and split the Goblin in half. The remains of the Goblin fell to the ground and I looked at my handiwork in amazement.

I raised my head and looked at the group of Goblins who were still stunned by the sudden death of their monster comrade.

A slightly predatory smile grew on my face and without hesitation I launched myself onto the battlefield.

The Goblins growled as they always did and also ran towards me.

I took my sword in one hand and swung it from my waist upwards, cutting the arm and face of a Goblin.

I dodge a scratch and bring my sword down, cutting off the Goblin's head and striking another with my free hand.

After defending, dodging and attacking I grabbed my sword with both hands and jumped towards the Goblins that were still alive.

Two Goblins jumped towards my position and I dodged by moving with an impulse to the side. Then with all my strength I slashed a Goblin's waist in two and thrust my sword into his face.

I left my sword stuck in and grabbed the Goblin by the head, grabbed it hard and brought it down to my knee disconcerting it. I lifted my sword from the dead Goblin and slashed the Goblin across its chest killing it instantly.

Thanks to the space in the dungeon corridors I have room to move and dodge the attacks, also with that I can prepare for an ambush and counter it without problems.

Seeing the Goblins rising from the walls, I get ready and run towards them.

Status points are not earned on their own.

Bete was furious.

His day was going like any other, rest, training, killing monsters if it is possible, insulting the weaker ones, looking down on everyone around him, and enjoying a drink.

All that was ruined thanks to an order from Loki.

'That brat'

Bete growled. The werewolf could have had a normal day, but now he had to get involved again with that brat who knows nothing but annoy him.

He still remembers the humiliation he received from Riku with that thing thrown in his eyes. Bete remembered the sting of some dungeon monster poisons or acids.

The pain was similar because they attacked a sensitive part of the body, if it had been another side Bete would not scream at the pain, but it would also depend on when pain is the one he feels, not any pain is able to ignore.

'Someday she'll pay me back'

Bete still holds a grudge against Riku for that, however, he couldn't do much because the executives were constantly inspecting what the girl was doing in the dungeon.

The favoritism and attention for Riku was very clear on the part of the executives.

It seems that the girl had been sent to forge a weapon for the dungeon, since the knife Riku had was broken.

Bete snorted at the memory of that. A good quality weapon for a beginner adventurer is literally a godsend.

For that reason Loki told Bete to follow Riku in case she gets too excited to use it and forgets or loses it in the dungeon.

Bete growled again.

Unwilling to perform his task Bete entered the dungeon and walked through the corridors ignoring the weaklings who were fighting against weak monsters.

However, Bete blinked when he did not find the girl in the first three floors of the dungeon.

Riku already had a few weeks of experience fighting on the first few floors, however, finding no monsters he went deeper into the dungeon.

This is due to the time she entered the dungeon.

The dungeon during the morning was full of monsters, this was mainly because during the night the adventurers did not go in large numbers, there are a few that go in.

So as the day goes by the huge amounts of monsters between each floor is decreasing before the adventurers, however, also the monsters are born at any time so the number can increase or decrease.

Bete went down to the fourth floor and followed Riku's scent to find her easily.

When Bete turned a corner what he saw made him blink.

Riku found herself in the midst of a chaos of blood and monster remains.

The girl was breathing heavily and was clutching tightly her sword which was now stained with blood.

The Goblins were not found with small wounds or beaten as Bete had seen the first time she accompanied the girl to the dungeon.

That time Riku had a second-hand knife with a common protective gear.

Now the girl carried a good quality sword for the upper floors and had defeated a large number of Goblins.

Riku stuck her sword into the ground and used it to support herself so she wouldn't sit on the ground from exhaustion.

In the past she used a knife so her attacks were small and did not require much effort to hit the enemy in a weak spot.

Now as Riku had a sword the effort she made was much greater with the movements, but the monsters die faster and with fewer attacks.

Bete snorted with amusement, at least the werewolf considered the girl a tough nut for the monsters to crack.

Upon catching a certain smell Bete looks in the direction it came from and admires another type of monster heading towards Riku at a slow pace.

Bete laughed and stayed hidden. He wanted to watch the show in the front row, the girl's fights were funny to Bete.

If something bad should happen then Bete will step in and save her.

Also Bete will not forget to insult her in the process.

xxxxx

Well, it's more tiring than I thought.

My sword weighs more than my knife and for a while I used it to cut Goblins I came across.

One detail was that the Goblins were gathering in groups because they were just born from the dungeon walls so I was not only attacking and slashing, but I also had to dodge the Goblins' claws and bites.

I learned to roll to dodge, it was funny that the falna allows me to do things that I considered difficult or impossible to do in my old life.

At least I got used to living in this world.

Fear helped in that.

Breathing a little I straighten up and admire my sword which was full of blood.

I remember Tsubaki's words about taking care of my weapon.

At the moment I don't have any rags or flannel to clean up the blood so I do the only thing I can think of.

I raise my sword as high as I can and bring it down hard, but I stop it before it hits the ground.

As expected some of the blood came off, however, the sword was not completely cleaned, I am not an expert in this kind of thing... for now.

When I thought that was enough for my test I was about to pick up my loot or what was left of it, but something caused me to stop.

Gradually I heard footsteps closer to me and beheld a monster approaching my position.

By the time the darkness stopped hiding him the confusion on my face was very clear.

This was a new monster for me.

Riveria's classes have been very useful for my learning and thanks to that I know what this monster is.

Kobold.

These monsters looked humanoid like Goblins, however, their size differed somewhat from what I had already seen.

Their bodies were covered almost entirely in animal-like fur and their heads resembled that of a dog. They towered almost two heads above the Goblins.

Since this is a new monster I did not rush to confront it and waited for it to approach first.

However, I think it was a mistake this time.

The Kobold ran towards me, surprising me by the difference in speed it had.

For some beginner adventurers the Kobold and Goblins are the main monsters to learn to fight and grow so their difficulty is not much, but I am very small and my condition is very different.

*Clank*

I blocked the Kobold's attack and kicked him in the chest, my attack only pushed him a little compared to the Goblins and he lunged at me again.

Knowing that it would be a little more complicated for me to kill him, I do the only thing that comes to my mind.

I raised my sword to the height of my chest horizontally and at the same time as the Kobold I jumped towards him and ended up skewering him through his chest.

The monster growled slightly and I felt the weight of it on my sword so I pulled it out and the monster collapsed on the ground.

I let out a sigh as I wiped the sweat from my face, this fight took me by surprise so I should have been fine for my first time.

Just when I thought I was at peace, some Kobolds came out of the walls and saw me as their target, never let your guard down in the dungeon.

No matter the opponent, you always have to go all out.

This time I ran towards them listening to their guttural grunts and watched as they began to advance towards me.

I knew that fighting head-on would be complicated, so I performed a somewhat extreme maneuver.

When I reached a distance I made a big jump with all my momentum and attacked one of them in the head, killing him.

I didn't have time to celebrate because I quickly spun around and swung my sword through the side of a Kobold, splitting it in two.

Suddenly the last Kobold attacked me from the side. I could not dodge and seeing no other alternative, I sacrificed my left arm and received a bite from the monster.

I let out a cry of pain, but that didn't stop me. With all the pain I raised my sword and dropped it on the head of the Kobold that is biting me.

When he died his bite softened and I was able to free my arm.

I took several breaths as I held my injured arm, I pulled a potion out of my pocket, and took it carefully so it wouldn't slip out of my shaking hand.

When I finished taking it, my arm that had just been bitten glowed with a faint light and the wound closed. The pain was still there, however, it was less in quantity.

For the third time I thought the situation was over, but as I looked to a certain spot I beheld a large group of Goblins and Kobolds arrive as if they knew I was there.

The dungeon apparently has a hatred for me and keeps sending me monsters.

I gritted my teeth and took a deep breath to calm down. The situation was bothering me, but I knew this was the dungeon and anything could happen in this place.

I raised my sword and pointed at the monsters with it.

"If you want to die so badly then come!"

I ran towards the monsters without hesitation and began to fight.

Waiting for someone to suddenly come along and save me? This is no fairy tale and the only one who marks the future is oneself.

And at this moment I will cross this challenge like all the others to come.

xxxxx

Bete was laughing out loud.

The situation never went well for Riku, however, she always manages to overcome the adversities she faces.

That was not what amused Bete.

What caused Bete to start laughing was that the girl shouted certain things and ran towards the monsters saying that they would die.

This would have been great, but since it was a girl who said those words for Bete it was a reason for laughter and mockery.

However, as Bete watched the battle he slowly stopped laughing and a faint smile grew on his face at what he was seeing.

Riku was fighting against a large number of monsters and was eliminating them from left to right without much trouble. Apparently the girl went into frenzy mode and there was no stopping her.

The monsters performed their typical moves to kill Riku. As she always did, Riku dodged some attacks, but others she received and returned them with more force killing the monsters.

What surprised Bete the most was that Riku would occasionally shout a word and the monsters would be hit by something and end up dead. That was Riku's magic which she used ignoring Riveria's warnings.

The battle continued for a few minutes and when it was over Riku this time collapsed on the ground sitting down to take a rest.

Fighting monsters will always be hard work. The number of monsters you face may tell you how much time and effort it will take, but for a large group, calculations and predictions are of little use.

Bete had had enough with the brat, he had other things to do so he came out of hiding and walked towards the girl.

"Oi, Rabbit" Riku looked up in surprise "What's the matter? You look like you saw a dead man"

"Bete..." Riku looked at the werewolf a little incredulously "What are you doing here?"

"Loki sent me to find you due to the fact that she thought you would go crazy with your sword in the dungeon" Bete snorted "Apparently she was right. Look at the state of you"

Riku this time did not blush but looked down at her sword and gripped it tightly to pull the blade through a part of her clothes that had been torn off by the battle and wiped the sword clean.

Bete just looked at her and gritted his teeth. He moved his hand and took a potion from his pocket so that Bete could remove the cap and pour the liquid over Riku's head.

Riku felt the cold liquid fall on her head and turned her gaze to Bete, but he was looking away with a bitter face.

Riku's body which was full of bumps and scratches healed. She feeling her strength return she stood up with a stagger and put away her sword.

"I guess it's time to get out of here"

Riku turned her body and began to walk at a slow pace because she was still in pain and was too tired to go out as she usually did. Also the use of magic tired her mentally so her energy was already gone.

"Tch, I don't have time for your snail's bollocks"

"E-EH?! What are you doing?! Hey, put me down!"

Bete ignored her and picked her up like a sack of potatoes and hung her over his shoulder. Riku began to fidget and lightly hit Bete's chest to get her to let go.

A blush grew on Riku's face and she closed her eyes as she placed her hands on her face to try to ignore the embarrassment she felt.

Bete ignoring Riku's things ran out of the dungeon and started to move around the empty areas of the city avoiding any strange rumors that people created.

His work was done and he wanted to do his own thing.

xxxxx

"What do you think about what you did?"

"Uh, in my defense the temptation to try out my new sword was greater than my responsibility to return to Twilight Manor"

"Riku" Riveria lectured me "I knew you'd try it but taking out a Monster Party by yourself is not something you should be doing"

"Huh?" I blanched when I heard what she had said "Y-You said Monster Party, didn't you?"

"That's right" Riveria's tone of voice did not change "A large accumulation of monsters that are capable of wiping out groups of adventurers"

"The upper floors is not a place where many monsters accumulate"

"I know that, but sometimes there are exceptions. The guild noticed that the monsters suddenly appeared and warned the adventurers to watch out in case they encountered them"

"Isn't it too late for adventurers to enter the dungeon?" I ask curiously.

"Adventurers can enter the dungeon at any time they wish" Riveria explained to me "The guild is the one who manages who enters and warns in case of problems that may cause the death of the adventurers"

"I see" I nodded, however Riveria's gaze hardened.

"I should be upset with you, but Loki told me that what you did was very dangerous and exceptional for someone of your age"

"Why do you keep bothering me with my age?"

"It's not normal for children to go into the dungeon and be able to see the blood and organs of monsters without blanching and vomiting" well, she has a point "Nor that they are able to fight large numbers of monsters"

"I am special"

"Loki told me that"

"So...?" I looked at her with a tender smile looking to get out of my punishment.

Riveria sighed and stroked her forehead as she thought about what to do with me. She looked at me for a few seconds making me swallow deeply guessing what she would say to me.

"Bete told me about your battle. How was your magic?"

"Ah" apparently it's something else "I used it when I needed it"

"Hm, I hope and memories of the danger of using magic constantly"

"Mind zero"

A situation in which when using a lot of magic, the brain, upon feeling the rapid loss of mind, suffers something similar to a shock and the person faints without the ability to get up very soon.

"When you arrived I saw traces of physical and mental exhaustion" I nodded at Riveria's words "I want you to explain to me how was your battle in the dungeon"

"Are you going to punish me for what I did?"

"I am annoyed" Riveria looked at me sternly "But I am also amazed at your combat capabilities and use of magic with great coordination"

"Sure" I nodded at her request, from which I was saved.

"Depending on what I hear from you your classes will change a bit so try hard"

Shit, I guess it all depends on my words.

I guess it's time to improvise.

xxxxx

"Wait, is this for me?"

"Yes" the guard nodded "A girl with a green dress and gray hair came and handed us this envelope which is for you" he shrugged "Read it if you wish, it's your decision"

I nodded and the guard left to go about his business.

A letter from Syr is something that worries me, but at the same time makes me happy. It can have good news or bad news... or it's just that, a letter.

I opened it and took out the paper inside, being careful not to tear it when I took it out. It always happened to me that the envelope wouldn't open and I had to tear it, sometimes I also tore the letter and was annoyed by my stupidity.

I read for a few seconds and the confusion and relief could be seen on my face.

It was simply an invitation to a small meal that was to be held tomorrow night at the Hostess of Fertility.

Heh, I guess I'll take tomorrow off. Now I'm thinking of going to the Guild in search of changing my monster cores. Loki told me someone else would do it, but I had to learn at some point.

I have several monster cores that I keep so I should be able to do it on my own.

I take a short breath and the smell of wear and tear left my body making me frown in disgust at my odor.

I should take a bath and rest.

"Oh! It's her! Look Tione!"

"Don't yell Tiona!"

I looked toward the source of the sound and blinked as I noticed it was the Amazoness twins I had helped find a Familia some time ago.

"It's you" I smiled "It's good to see you. Apparently we ended up in the same Familia"

"That's great!" The short-haired Amazoness continued with that cheerfulness with which I met her "This place has a lot of strong people"

"It's a high-level Familia. You wanted a challenge so this was the best place I could think of"

"Heh, the fight we had gave us another perspective" the other Amazoness said with her hand on her chin.

"How was it?" I asked them curiously.

"It was amazing! Gareth and Finn showed us the power of Orario adventurers!"

"Yes" the long-haired Amazoness said and I caught a glimpse of a blush on her face, but it disappeared just as it appeared "I thought they were just charlatans, however, they showed me something else and changed my perspective of the people of Orario"

"By the way, what was your name again?"

"Uh" I blinked a little at the cheerful Amazoness's question "Didn't I introduce myself that time?"

"No, none of us did and we are in the same Familia so it would be a bad thing not to know each other" she shrugged.

"Uh, good point" I cleared my throat a little "My name is Riku, the newest member of the Loki Familia"

"I am Tiona! " The short-haired Amazoness exclaimed with joy.

"My name is Tione" the long-haired Amazoness spoke more seriously "Sorry my twin sister's attitude is a bit silly"

"Hey!"

I laughed at the twins' behavior and Tiona pouted.

"By the way, why are you in that state?" Tione asked me in confusion.

"Oh, apparently I fought a Monster Party on the 4th floor of the dungeon" I clapped my sword "Thanks to this beauty I achieved my task without suffering serious injuries"

" That's amazing!" Tiona exclaimed.

"You know, for someone like you it's incredible" Tione said to me with respect "The last time we saw you you could barely defend yourself, however, now you can take out many monsters and come out victorious"

"Sure" a smirk formed on my face "Effort has its achievements"

"We came back from dungeon too, at this point we were about to do something"

"Let's go take a bath" I nodded at what Tiona said, however, she paused and thought things over a bit and looked at me "Do you want to come with us?"

My head went blank as I listened to what she had said.

A bathroom? With other people?

"Ah, uh, I think I was about to do something, yes that" I replied to them sheepishly trying to get out of there as soon as possible.

"Nonsense" Tiona grabbed my arm and I couldn't resist her strength "We are part of the same Familia and that also makes us friends. Let's spend some time together!"

"T-Tiona I consider that I..." the words died and my face turned red. I looked at Tione, but she was already walking in front of us.

I looked up and Tiona smiled at me as she always did as she dragged me with her to the Twilight Manor bathrooms which are open to all Familia members.

Somebody save me...
