Kapitel 1: Chapter 1-The Beginning

The wind continued to blow as new cultivators rose and the old fell, empires rose and fell, sects rose and fell, and Gods and Demons rose and fell, different timelines rose and fell, while time continued on its never-ending path. Several new realms were birthed, while old powerless ones fell under the vestige of power. Within the lower heaven of the realm Quadralia, in a room within the Yun family, a 3-year-old child could be seen asleep.

The room didn't look anything special. It was a slightly large room with a bed and other necessities. The boy had black hair and a cute face, with a slightly pointed nose and chubby cheeks. Anybody who saw him would want to pinch his cheek.

The boy seemed to be in pain as his eyebrows scrunched up, and there was a painful look on his cute little face. Suddenly, the boy shot up from his bed while clutching his head.

'Haa... haha... what the hell happened? Why does my head hurt?'

As the boy woke up, he looked around his surroundings. A hint of confusion came to his eyes, which soon faded away upon seeing the room he was in. The boy raised his hands and looked at them. They were soft, small, and smooth. Soon, a calm look, not fitting for a child, took over.

'Am I back?'

The boy thought as he placed his head on the headboard of the bed and rested his body. Soon, his eyes closed, trying to calm down his beating heart. His memories flashed, reminding him of who he is—Yun Xiao, one of the main children of the huge behemoth Yun family.

Right now, he has returned to the past. More accurately, he's now back in his first life, Yun Xiao, after all, had gone through 2 lives. In his first life, he died at the age of 40 and was reborn in a world called Ingrid, which was completely different from his original cultivation world.

The world he was reborn into had no Qi and depended on technology, things he has already seen but with the added change of not having the presence of any sort of Qi or energy source he knows. The monsters there were fought with something called skills. Yun Xiao lived in that world for 50 years before he died again.

This time, he had met someone who called himself a God Of Stories. The God in question gave him a chance and sent him back to the past, to his real world, the world of the 4 heavens he originated from. Yun Xiao took deep breaths as he calmed his anxious heart. He opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling.

"Heavenly Opposers... huh."

Xiao muttered as he absentmindedly stared at the ceiling. The realm he lived in or now lives in is the realm called Quadralia, with four heavens stacked above each other. The whole of the four heavens was part of a realm that existed among the infinite spread around. His Yun family was a behemoth of an Empire in the lowest heaven. This is a world filled with cultivators trying to fight against the heavens, a cosmos filled with endless conflicts and greed.

The whole of this cosmos is ruled by power. Nothing else matters. It's a cold reality where you could lose your life at any time. In this cosmic reality, several pantheons, powers, and organizations ruling realms exist, and among them, the one that controls the laws or, to be more certain, the regulations is the Heavenly Court, controlled and ruled over by the 11 chosen heavens super darlings and its lower followers, each meticulously looked after by the Heavens.

The story of Yun Xiao, in his previous life, was quite normal and tragic. He was a normal, arrogant young master. He had talent at the lowest plane, but towards the top, his talent was trash. Seeing others surpass him, Xiao turned towards the 'evil' side for power and, in the end, was killed. After all, in this power-hungry cosmos, those termed as 'Evil' match those that are shunned by every power.

After dying, he was born into the world of Ingrid, which was completely different from his first world. Most people there only lived for a maximum of 200 years, and only humans ruled over it. Upon realizing that he had been reborn, Xiao shouted with ecstasy, inwardly screaming that he would rule this new world.

But alas, it was not to be. The world didn't have qi to cultivate at all. Not only that, the world was filled with so-called heroes who fought with skills. Despite having the luck of being reborn, Xiao screamed that he was still chosen, but fate was cruel once again. He was talented enough to awaken more than one skill, but all of them were trash.

Xiao's hopes were crushed again. He became depressed, bullied, and beaten. Even when he resisted, he lacked strength. Even in the new world he was born into, strength reigned supreme. But he did not despair, well that's not right Xiao did despair, he did fall into a huge wall of loss and death.

Xiao still had the sword skills and sharp mind from his first life. This, along with the help of his newfound master throughout his life, turned him around. He experienced all the ups and downs of life, making a living as a mercenary. Even his end was in a way he never expected, but Yun Xiao never regretted his end, for he died doing something he believed in.

It was during his time as a mercenary that he came across something called novels. Fascinated, he read about a cultivation novel that shared the same concept as cultivation itself!

Soon, he became obsessed with reading different novels, and that's when he came across something called the Heavenly Opposers! Intrigued, he read it, only to be astonished by the fact that it was 100% his world. Hell, even he was mentioned as a 'small'-scale villain.

The more he read, the more he understood that the book spoke about a group called the Heavenly Opposers. In fact, Xiao knew them well, as he had been killed by one of them.

The Heavenly Opposers were simple: they opposed the Heavenly Court. The Heavenly Court was sly and dangerous. They had taken up the seat to rule the heavens, but they were corrupted by its power and were unwilling to give up their power.

According to the heavens' set rule, the 11 seats of heavenly Rulers should be given to the next chosen one when they were born or chosen. However, the ones currently ruling were consumed by greed and couldn't be satisfied.

So they planned and killed the chosen ones before they could grow. Technically, due to the rule placed on them, they couldn't use their true power, but they controlled the powers from behind, killing off the chosen ones and causing them immense anguish and pain.

And as one could guess, due to some heaven's blessing, the chosen ones born in this era survived, and they sought revenge. Thus, the Heavenly Opposers were born.

In fact, this Era's chosen ones only suffered less and then their Heavenly luck struck turning them all into the greatest, though they were the lucky ones that escaped, for the unlucky ones that fell into the trap, their suffering was never-ending.

Kapitel 2: Chapter 2-Family

Xiao sighed as he finally opened his eyes. He was still in the same room, which meant that this was real and not a dream. He slowly tried to stand up from the bed but ended up stumbling and falling to the ground. It seemed that he was still not used to his child like body.

It took him a few minutes to adjust. Having already lived as a child twice, it only took a short while for him to get ready. Xiao straightened himself and walked towards the huge mirror in his room. Looking at his reflection, he saw a three-year-old child with black hair, black eyes, and cute chubby cheeks.

"Huh, looks like I'm back," Xiao spoke to himself as he gazed at his reflection. Just then, the door to the room opened, and a servant ran in, panting. She looked at Xiao with confusion in her eyes, momentarily taken aback by the sight of the three-year-old boy. Sensing her confusion, Xiao sighed and played the role of a curious child, his eyes shining with curiosity.

"What happened?" he asked anxiously, looking at the servant.

The servant, still catching her breath, hurriedly replied, "Young Master, the First Miss is giving birth!"

"Mother is?" Xiao was puzzled. Suddenly, an image flashed in his mind—a woman with silver hair, light blue eyes, and a captivating beauty. However, there was a coldness and indifference in her gaze as she looked at him. The image disappeared as quickly as it came, leaving Xiao in a daze. The servant called out to him, snapping him back to reality.

"Young master?"

Shaking off his thoughts, Xiao returned to himself and looked at the servant with a happy and sparkling gaze. He exclaimed, "Really!? My sibling is going to be born?"

Observing the child's sparkling eyes and happy expression, the servant was tempted to pinch his cheeks, but she restrained herself. She nodded and led the way, and he followed knowing that Xiao had to maintain his childlike act for the time being. If he didn't, the powerful members of his family might subject him to research tests.

Following the servant, Xiao walked for a few minutes until they reached a spacious courtyard belonging to his mother. The thought of seeing his mother again brought a smile to his face. During his previous life, she was the one who had always supported him.

After a short walk, they arrived at a room where the sound of a woman's screams could be heard. Xiao easily recognized the voice. Outside the room, several female servants stood, their heads bowed in respect as Xiao approached. Ignoring their gestures, Xiao stood outside the door, waiting. After a few moments, he turned to a nearby servant and asked, "Where's Father?"

Upon hearing the child's question, some of the servants wore pained expressions. Eventually, one of them mustered the courage to answer, "Young master, after being informed, the First Lord said he was busy with cultivation and would visit the child when he is free."

Hearing this, Xiao's expression faltered for a moment, displaying a hint of disappointment. "I see..." he replied, then shifted his gaze back to the door. Xiao wasn't truly disappointed, as he knew the kind of person his so-called father was. He calmly waited in front of the door, listening to his mother's pained cries. The sight of a young child with such a "disappointed" look made some of the servants feel uneasy, but they remained silent, understanding the situation within the Yun family.

Minutes passed, and the cries from the room diminished, replaced by the sound of a baby's cry. Simultaneously, a cold wind swept through the room, spreading across the entire manor, surprising everyone who felt it. Xiao felt a shiver run down his spine in response to the chilling breeze.

Then, several powerful figures appeared in the courtyard, including Xiao's reclusive grandfather. Xiao concealed his true emotions behind a smile as he watched their arrival. He knew what was about to happen and the disappointment that awaited them.

Taking a deep breath, Xiao acknowledged the annoyance of acting as a child, but he knew he couldn't change his appearance so quickly. With the happiest smile he could muster, he ran towards his father, who had appeared beside his grandfather. Alongside them were several others emanating powerful auras.

"Father!" Xiao exclaimed with a childish voice, running toward his father. His father, Yun Qing, had a strong build and a handsome face. He was the second child of Xiao's grandfather and one of the candidates for the next head of the family. Qing put on a neutral smile as he took Xiao into his arms.

"Are you okay, Xiao?" he asked.

"I'm fine, Father!" Xiao replied cheerfully, playing with his father's beard innocently. Observing his father's lips twitching, Xiao couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. In truth, he didn't hold any positive feelings toward his father. The memories of past events were still fresh in his mind.

As Xiao continued to annoy his father, the door to his mother's room opened, and the midwife came out. Xiao's grandfather swiftly entered the room. Xiao's eyes remained fixed on his grandfather, watching as he lifted the baby from the midwife and scanned her with his aura. Initially, a look of shock and happiness crossed his grandfather's face, only to be replaced by disappointment. He handed the child back to the midwife and addressed the people gathered in the courtyard with a disappointed expression.

"It's a pity. She possesses terrifying talent in cultivation, but her meridians are blocked by Supreme Yin ice. Not only will she be unable to cultivate, but she will also endure extreme cold for the rest of her life."

As silence fell upon the courtyard, some wore happy expressions, while others expressed pity or remained emotionless. Soon, those who had gathered began to disperse, including Xiao's father, Qing, who put Xiao back on the ground and left without saying a word.

Now, only the servants remained in the courtyard, along with Xiao, who pretended to be confused by the situation unfolding before him. During this silence, a calm and smooth voice broke through the air.

"Give her to me."

Upon hearing the voice, all the servants looked toward the bedroom where the lady sat. Xiao, recognizing the familiar voice, moved toward the room. There, he saw a beautiful woman sitting on the bed—his mother. With black hair and eyes, she had a calm and weary expression.

Despite her gentle and harmless appearance, Xiao knew the truth. His mother was a demon who wouldn't hesitate to wipe out an entire family if it benefited her. He had firsthand experience of her cunning and manipulative nature. Yet, he held no fear because she was his mother—the one who protected him when the world wanted him dead. As his thoughts raced, his eyes briefly flickered red before returning to normal.
