Kapitel 21: Chapter#21: What am I?
Dara's eyes opened. She found that Wade was not there on the bed. She felt something wet on her face. She touched it to see what it was. It was blood. She quickly got up and went to the mirror to see what had happened. There were blood spots on her face. She got shocked from where they came from. She got scared. She suddenly saw Wade behind her. She turned around and hugged him, "I was scared."
Wade stabbed a knife in her belly and spoke, "I told you to kill that child."
"No!" Dara fell down on the floor from her bed. Her eyes opened. "Huh…it was an awful nightmare." She sighed. She got up and found that Wade was not there. The bite mark on her neck was aching badly. She went to the mirror to see it. She was shocked to see at herself in the mirror. Her hair had black stripes. They looked really good but Dara was so confused what had happened last night with her. She couldn't believe her eyes. "This is incredible. I have to tell Wade."
She picked up her phone and she was about to call Wade when she saw a note placed on her side table. She picked it up. It read;
"Dara I can't stay anymore. It's dangerous for you. What happened last night could have killed you. I have to go far away from you. I'm going Dara. Try to forget me because this time I'm going away for sure but one thing I'm telling you that whenever you want me, I'll be there for you. I love you my Queen and I've only loved you."
Dara's eyes filled with tears while reading the letter. She didn't know what was happening with her and around her. Everything was so messed up in her head. The bite marks on her neck started to ache more. She got up to see them in the mirror. They looked horrible. The blood was clotted on both of the marks and there were bruises around them. She ignored it and changed. She went upstairs for her breakfast.
"Oh my!" Ellen exclaimed, "You look beautiful Dara. I like the new hair."
Dara only smiled at her mother.
"As far as I remember, you couldn't dye your hair." Greg spoke.
"My hair were like this when I woke up." Dara told.
"How can this be possible?" Ellen inspected.
"Dara you know you don't have to lie to us. If you dyed your hair, you can tell us." Greg smiled.
"I'm not lying!" Dara exclaimed.
"Okay honey. We know you're not, just calm down." Ellen tried to calm Dara down.
"I don't feel hungry." Dara sighed.
"Dara you can tell us what happened." Greg spoke.
"We're your parents honey. We're the first ones to see if our daughter is happy or not. You look disturbed." Ellen spoke.
Dara picked up her bag and spoke, "I love you both a lot and I know how much you love me. I just had a fight with Wade, that's all."
"At least have your breakfast." Greg spoke.
"Dad I'll grab it on my way. I'm not really hungry right now." Dara spoke while leaving the house, "Good bye!"
On her way to school, she expected Wade to come. She expected him to come to her as he used to come every day. There was no sign of him. She reached school.
"Cool hair colour." Ashley came to Dara.
"Thank you!" Dara thanked.
Maria came, "I like the new look girl."
"I was just telling her that she looks awesome." Ashley spoke.
"Well thank you both." Dara uttered, "Do you know where Wade is?"
"Wade who?" Ashley inspected.
"Cha…Charles." Dara told.
"No I haven't seen him." told Ashley.
"It's been four days now he's not coming to school." Maria spoke.
"You were also not here last three days." Ashley mentioned.
"I was a bit sick that's all." Dara told.
"Are you good now?" Maria asked.
"Yeah I'm good. I'll catch up with you guys later."
"Okay see you girl." Ashley exclaimed.
Dara went to her classroom. The whole day passed in school. William and his friends were also not there. Dara now felt nothing. She was extremely without any feelings or emotions. "I don't feel good." she murmured. As soon as school finished, she decided to go back home without wasting any second.
One her way back home, she smelled something. It was the smell of blood. She looked at her right side. There was a kid who fell down from the bike and got a scar on his knee. She looked at the blood as if she craved for it.
"Yo! What are you looking at?" that kid gave her a voice.
Dara got out from the carving and ignored the kid. She started to walk further. She couldn't control herself. She wanted that blood so bad. She turned around and went to that boy.
"Hello there." Dara greeted.
"Hey! I saw you staring at me." the boy spoke.
"I was just seeing if you got hurt or not."
"This is just a small wound. I'll get it fixed in no time."
"I'm Dara by the way." Dara held her hand up to shake.
"Chris here." Chris shook hands with Dara.
"Should I help you with getting the wound fixed." Dara softly uttered while moving her hand on his shoulder and giving him sexy looks.
"I'd love you to help me." Chris smiled at Dara.
Dara held his hand and started to walk, "Come with me."
"Where are you taking me?" he asked while walking with her.
"You'll soon know."
They both stopped at where the woods started.
"I can't go inside." Chris uttered.
"Why not?"
"It's dangerous to go in there."
"Trust me Chris. I've been in there so many times."
"What about my cycle. I can't take it in there."
"Just leave it there." Dara said this and ran into the woods, "Come and find me."
Chris left his bike and ran after her, "Where are you going?" He went into the woods and called for Dara.
"Boo!" Dara tried to scare him.
"You scared me!" Chris exclaimed.
"Now let's see what to do with your wound." Dara went down on her knees and grabbed Chris's leg. She held her face close to the wound and licked it while looking up at Chris. She then slowly got up and pushed Chris towards a tree.
"How is it?" Chris winked at her.
"It needs a little treatment." Dara told while running her finger in circled on his chest.
Chris grabbed her from her waist and dragged her close to him. He started to kiss her neck. He kissed her passionately. Dara held his face close to her and then licked his neck. Her sharp pointed teeth started to come out and her eyes turned to golden. She could feel goose bumps growing all around her body. She pushed her teeth inside the skin of his neck and started to suck his blood.
Chris screamed and he tried to push Dara away but Dara was too powerful at that moment. She sucked his blood so hard as if she has been thirsty for years. She sucked his blood until he was dead. She took out her teeth and got Chris out of hold. He fell down, dead. She wiped off the blood from her lips with her finger and licked it with her tongue.
She left Chris laying in the woods dead alone and came running outside from the woods. She saw a wolf watching her, as she ran out from the woods. She ignored it and ran as fast as she could to get out from there. She reached home. Greg opened the door for her.
"Why are you sweating sweetie?"
"I…I had a race with one of my friends."
"Oh okay."
Dara came inside. Greg called her from behind. She turned around, "Yes Dad?"
"Is this blood on you face and on your shirt?"
"No…that's ketchup." Dara mocked, "I had been eating a lot of fries today."
"Won't you come for some lunch?"
"I'm full Dad. I'll be in my room." Dara said and walked towards her room. She locked the door and stood beside it. "What is happening with me?" She walked towards her mirror. She stared at herself and thought, "Am I a werewolf or a vampire?" suddenly her eyes change to golden. She held back with a shock. She looked at herself again. Everything was normal. She opened her mouth and looked at her teeth. They were normal too. "What is happening with me? I wish you were here Wade." she sighed.
She took off her clothes and went inside the bathroom for a shower. After shower when she came out from the bathroom, she saw William sitting on her bed. She was not wearing any clothes. She had only a towel around her.
"What are you doing here?" Dara asked him in an angry tone.
"I'm only here to talk." William stood up and said.
"I want you to leave!"
"Dara just listen once." William came close to her and held her from her naked shoulders.
Dara fiercely got his hand off her and exclaimed, "Don't you dare touch me William."
"Dara look I'm sorry for everything but we can fix that."
"Leave!" Dara exclaimed while pointing at the window from where he came inside.
"I wish you knew how much I love you." William left while saying this.
As soon as William was gone, Dara rushed to the window and locked it. She laid on her bed naked with a thin sheet on her and slept.
