Kapitel 7: Chapter#07: Another missing kid

Dara ran and ran to make her way out from the jungle. She could see nothing but the big trees all around. "Can anyone here me?" she screamed but there was no one who heard her.

She suddenly felt something running behind her. She quickly turned around. There was nothing there. She felt it again and soon she could see something running in the woods. It was black and huge. "Stop!" Dara ran towards that thing. It was the same thing she had been seeing in her dreams.

That thing stopped and Dara went close to it. She went closer and closer. It was dark, hairy and big. It was huge. She could hear it groan. She went closer. She was scared but at the same time she wanted to see what that thing was. It was huge and sounded fierce. "What are you?" Dara asked in a scared tone from behind. It turned around.

"Uh…" Dara's eyes opened. Her head felt dizzy. She moved her hands towards her head and suddenly saw blood on them. She got up with a scream.

"Is everything alright?" the maid asked from outside the locked door.

"Yeah…yeah everything's fine." Dara told in a loud afraid voice while she was still on her bed. She found herself naked and there was blood on her body. The white bed sheet on her bed was covered with blood marks. Dara got scared. She looked here and there in her room. There was blood on the floor too. She turned her head to the window beside her bed and was puzzled to found it open. There was blood on glass of the window and also on the wall around the window.

"What happened last night?" Dara asked herself while she was still feeling dizzy and was having a headache. She was so confused and scared. While still sitting naked on her bed, her eyes got caught on the clock hung on the wall. "I'm late!" she exclaimed and hurriedly got up from her bed. She closed the window, rushed to her bathroom and brushed her teeth. She opened the tap of the shower to clean herself up. While having her shower, her dream appeared before her eyes.

That huge dark thing turned around. It had the most dreadful dark eyes. It gave a loud howl. "It was a wolf." she uttered to herself.

She dried herself and put her clothes on. She came out from the bathroom and saw her room in the same condition she had left it. "Where did all this blood come from?" she thought, "I can't let anybody know about this." She looked at the time. She was late for her school. "I'll clean it up as soon as I come back home." she thought and went out from the room, locking the door.

"Hey granddad!" she met Stephen in the garden watering some pretty white flowers.

"Good morning sunflower. Have you been waking up in the night?"

"No I haven't. I…I just don't feel good."

"Greg and Ellen left this morning. They knocked at your door to meet you but you were sleeping deep."

"I wish I could meet them." Dara uttered. "I should be going now. I'm already late." saying this she made her way outside the house.

"Wait flower." Stephen said from behind while Dara. Dara turned around. "I have something for you." Stephen pointed his finger towards the garage. Dara turned and saw a bicycle.

"Oh my God!" she ran towards it and sat on it. "Thank Granddad. I love you!" saying this she made her way towards the school. She rode as fast as she could and finally reached school. She ran to the hallway. It was empty. All the students were in there classes. "Damn the class has already started." she exclaimed. "I think I should go inside."

"Don't think about it." A voice said from behind. Dara turned around and found Charles standing behind her. "It's okay to miss a class but if you go in between the lecture, you're almost dead."

"I should probably wait outside then." Dara spoke. "Have you missed the class too?" she asked him.

"I didn't want to take the lecture." he replied.

"Why so?"

"History is boring."

"What should we do now?"

"We can sit outside in the garden for some time if you want."

"I'd love to." Dara smiled.

The both walked to the garden and sat beneath the shade of a tree.

"So how was the party last night?" Charles asked.

"It was fun." Dara told, "I've never been in a party before. It was my first one."

"Neither have I."

"You were in the party? But I didn't see you."

Charles softly chuckled.

"Wait a second…were you that guy who was staring at me and William?" Dara asked.

"Why would I do that?" Charles laughed. "You saw someone watching you both?"

"Yeah. There was this guy staring at us. I couldn't see him clearly but he was there."

"You look so into William." Charles smirked.

"Well…I don't know."

"Don't be shy. You can tell me."

"I don't love him but I get attracted towards him." Dara told.

"What?" Charles laughed, "Then who do you love?"

"His name is Wade." Dara answered, "I've loved him my whole life. I had left this place seven years ago. He used to live here. He meant everything to me. I wish I could find him again. I think he has left."

"Never heard of anyone named Wade." Charles uttered in an upset tone.

"You haven't told me yet, why do you wear this mask?"

"I've some kind of allergy from the air so I have to wear it all the time."

"When I first came here, I thought you were damn weird."

"Why so?" chuckled Charles.

"You were very quiet and always alone."

"I don't have any friends being honest. I don't make friends."

Dara pulled her hand in front of him, "Why don't you make one today?"

Charles smiled and shook hands with Dara, "Friends!"

The bell rang. First class was over. "I think we should…" Dara found that Charles was not there. She looked here and there and called him but he wasn't there.

"Hey gorgeous!" someone put a hand on her shoulder.

She suddenly got scared, "You scared me William."

William hugged her, "I couldn't sleep last night."

"Why not?"

"I wished to have you in my bed."

Dara looked at him and felt a little shy. The bell rang again. "You don't want to miss another class or do you?" William pulled her up and they both went to take the class.

"Good morning students!" the teacher entered, "I want to make an announcement. A student of our school named Bill Thomson has been reported missing from last night. If anyone of you sees him, do report it in the office. You will all be given his picture to identify him." A student got up, took the papers from the teacher's hand and started to distribute in the class.

Dara took the paper and suddenly she could see horrifying flashbacks. She could see him walk on the road while using his phone; he then turned around, saw something and started to run. She could see him running desperately and screaming, "Go away!" then suddenly she could see him fall and that thing starts to eat him. She could hear his screams and she could see blood everywhere. It felt as if it was some wild animal eating him.

Dara screamed and got up from her chair. "Are you okay?" the teacher asked.

Dara looked at the class. All the students were staring at her. She was sweating badly. Her head was still aching. "I'm…fine." she uttered and sat back on her chair.

"What happened?" Charles asked her.

"Nothing." she lied.

On lunch break Ashley came to Dara and asked, "Do you know where he is?"

"He's dead!" tears rolled down Dara's eyes.

"I hope he's still alive."

"Tell this to no one. I've seen him dying." Dara sobbed.

"There you are." William came towards Dara, "I've been searching every…what…what happened?"

"I don't feel good."

"Hey babe, don't cry." William wiped tears from her face.

"I should go now. Take care Dara." Ashley went away.

"You should have skipped the school if you weren't okay." William said while grabbing her face.

Dara hugged William tightly and started to cry.

"Shhh…calm down girl." William tried to make her tears stop.

The bell rang. They had to go back inside their classes. "I'll accompany you if you want to skip the class." William uttered.

"I don't want to miss the class."

"Get well soon pretty." William kissed her and uttered, "I love you!"

She ignored his words and went back in the class.

"I saw you crying." Charles spoke.

"I don't feel well."

"You can't lie to me."

Dara looked at him and she could see his eyes trying to tell her something. The teacher came inside the class and the lecture started.
