Kapitel 129: A god Bleeds!

"For-forgive my incapacity, Great One… I have failed you! And for that, I deeply apologise…", Fel starts in a severely shaky voice.

"However, our failure was not out of insolence, my liege... 

We- we did according to your orders. We launched an attack, but then they produced the Council's beacon..."

"And then what?..."

Skotos' angry voice cuts Fel's speech off abruptly once again, his impatience apparent.

"...You nonentities slipped into a sorry state of cowardice!"

He snaps, suddenly throwing the dagger in his hands at Fel in anger. The sharp dagger travels in a flash towards her head.

Fel barely dodges in the nick of time, allowing the dagger to stab, lodging itself deep into her right shoulder and piercing all the way through to the hilt so that it cracks her collarbone.

"Ah!"

She winces in pain from the wicked and merciless bite of the dagger, falling to lay on the ground on one side from the impact.
