Kapitel 72: Down

There is a tune knocked on my office door. Mi opens it up. Lee tumbles through the door with Kay smirking at his back. I lounge in my floor cushions, shaking at the glitter globe, trying to figure out what happens next. Pretending I know exactly what I am doing. The Black Market is mine.

“What have you done?” Lee quickly straightens himself up. Glowers at me.

“I have taken control of Black Cloaks.”

“When they find out there will be uproar. You can’t tilt the scales here.”

“I already have.”

“Why? Whatever possessed you to send Mister Hans away and take his living quarters? A whim? I don’t understand.”

“He was talking crudely about my boyfriend.”

Lee turns to Frankie. “You are following this madness. He’ll get the four of you killed.”

Kay pushes into Lee’s back, making him stumble again. “Casey cares.”

“About himself.”
