Kapitel 8: 8

It is impossible to completely stay away from Zain. He is still in the same class. His table is still the one behind mine. I can't avoid him.

But I can try to keep distance between us. Don't talk to him unless it's necessary. Don't look at him unless it's needed. Don't think about him unless it's about something important.

That's pretty hard, though. The first thing I notice when class starts is his gaze burning on my back again.

It is still as warm as before, yet I still feel like something has changed. Before, there was no kindness, no hate, no feelings, no judgment. It was a curious look.

Now there's something else hidden behind it. A feeling I don't know, and I don't think he can explain it either. It is more than the previous interest. It is more than the warmth I felt before.

I don't think he has realized any of it yet. How much it distracts me, how it keeps my mind busy, how it has changed. Should I tell him? That means talking to him, though..
