"What? Can we please stop this already? I'm getting kind of uncomfortable," I frown.

"Do you want to die?!" Fortuna yells at me. "Won't you listen to me? Have I not shown you enough proof?"

"If there are gods, why is the world as fucked as it is?! Why don't you heal the poor world? Why let us destroy it?" I raise my voice as well.

"We can't give you perfection. We may be gods, but even we don't have the power to reverse the damage you humans have done. You greedy little shits chose the fates that gave you the most, even though it ruins everything around you. Don't blame us for your faults. You have made many of my friends sick, asshole." She throws the red bottle at me.

I catch it, but put it down as I watch my world turn red again. "So you're telling me this isn't some kind of trick?"

"Thank Jupiter that you finally decided to listen!" Fortuna groans. "Now, tell me. Are you willing to do anything to survive?"
