Kapitel 123: Arena Forty-Nine: Lost Cause VI

"Where will you go from here?"

Flora asked me as we walked out of the vault.

"Winchester House."

"... Why there?"

My reply seemed to make the noble a bit confused, but I didn't want to elaborate... So I just shook my head.

She knew about me killing Raymond, so I could understand her confusion. It would be suicide to go there, but that was under normal circumstances.

"Oh well... I understand. Good luck."

Flora didn't pry into the matter any further as she led us to the mansion exit. This whole thing was sorted out quite easily... Perhaps I just needed to notify her that I was coming and we wouldn't have had to go through the whole process of putting these people to sleep.

Then again, that probably would have taken more time, so I guess the current outcome wasn't bad either.

We stepped out of the mansion with Flora. One of the agents went towards some bushes and pulled out our hazmat suits, which we all donned on once again.
