She was a fool to have hesitated. Nessa regretted not pulling that trigger at Christopher's head. If she had done so, by now, he would be dead and the others would be safe. She wished. There was no guarantee his men wouldn't blast their brains out if they harmed Christopher. But then, Nessa imagined numerous ways she could have ended him.
She stared at this sadistic psychopath trying to guess what will happen to her afterward. Would he throw her to his men after he was done with her? Or force her to remain by his side?
Nessa suddenly thought of delphine, her birth mother. She's just like Christopher, but she wondered if she knew of this and have been deceiving her all along, or did the asshole cross the line in their partnership? She couldn't tell, her head was spinning right now.
