Mattheus stood respectfully standing, considering the official audience with the king. The event during Lughnasadh was serious enough that Mordred VII had to personally oversee the aftermath. Over a dozen people had died, after all, a handful of them foreigners.

A viscount and his wife had also been part of the victims.

The twenty-year-old had woven a more comprehensive tale, having a day to do so.

Antoine was Mattheus's excuse for coming back during Lughnasadh since they were known to be friends. The blond had supposedly convinced him to join in the festivities.
