"Lex, help me," Alex said, his helplessness making him look so different. Lex looked at her brother and this time, even she wasn't sure what she needed to do, because her confusion was that evident.

In Alex's arms was the brother they had planned to make things right with today. The person they owed more than they had cared to admit. The one man who had brought light into their lives. 

Lex wanted to cry out in pain, but her brother needed her. She was the only family he had and at this moment, she would take care of him first and mourn later. That was all she could afford, but she was angry. 

Alexandra Garner was so angry that if she could, she could just walk out the door and head out to look for the person who did this. 

She would find them. 

She would make them pay.
