Kapitel 164: No More Hiding!

"Hello sis, damn, you look good. Did Damien force you to take a shower?" Carl asked, with a stifled laugh and Lia just glared at him. 

"Of course. Our little sister is too scared to even use the damned bathroom on her own. Which reminds me, why the fuck did you not even take a shower, Damien? You smell like a lost goat in the wild," Miranda said and Damien just showed his tongue to her.

He had been in this hospital next to his sister for weeks and hadn't moved a step. He had been so determined to protect Lia that he even forgot that he had to take care of himself. However, he had argued that they sometimes went on long military operations.

He insisted that even in those operations, the goal was to complete the mission and come home alive. Showers were a luxury they couldn't afford in such states. However, Nik didn't believe his brother. He somehow knew that Damien James was lying through his teeth.
