Kapitel 106: Of A Guilty Conscience

Alex was desperate. He really wanted to see Lia, but would she want to see him? Would she want to engage in a  conversation after he had confirmed that her brother was a monster and a Liar? Would she want to see him if she was at the police station because of him? 

These were just speculations, but Alexander Garner knew there was nothing that would go back to normal. Their relationship had been doomed from the very moment he had decided to hurt her. That much he was already aware of. 

It's funny how the truth about his life had finally spiraled into a sea of misfortunes that attacked him left, right, and center. His heart was the most affected, but he wouldn't show that, or maybe the people who really knew him knew how hard it was for him. 

He was the mighty Alexander, but he was broken more than anyone in the world.
