It had taken 8 days for Lia to finally wake up like a normal person, no more half-assed sightings. It had really been a long time. A period that tested how patient the siblings were. How tolerant he Garners were and how rational Alex could be.

The moment she woke up, Alex was already by her side, ready to do her bidding, maybe he was hoping she would tell him what she remembered. Maybe he was hoping she would complain and curse him for the classes.
