Kapitel 131: Cross the River Part 3

"Promise me you'll be safe in Xeron?" Noe kisses Daniel's forehead, then moves down to his cheeks, and settles on Daniel's lips. 

A little rougher than he usually does so, Daniel grabs hold of Noe's hand that presses softly into his neck. "I promise."

Aiding Daniel to stand by keeping his arms locked around Daniel's shoulder and lower back, Noe keenly watches Eris over Daniel's shoulder.

Noe brings Eris onto the mound of dirt using the ring of oxygen beneath Eris' chin.

Pulling shackles out from the air and telekinetically clamping them around Eris' wrists and ankles, Terry flies Eris to his feet and they walk over to where Noe and Daniel embrace. 

With a squeeze on Noe's wrists - which rest over Daniel's rapidly beating heart - Daniel brings Noe's attention back to him. Daniel's exhales result in Noe's inhales. Their breaths mingle and intertwine before filling each other's lungs with life.
