Kapitel 62: Starving in the Middle of the Night

"Who knows. It wouldn't hurt to be on guard. He might be back in a bit. Do you have the strength to stand up?" Yukiko stood up and held out her hand to help Mike to stand up.

Unfortunately, Mike just smiled and shook his head. "Please leave me like this for a moment, Yukiko-san. My body feels crushed. I can't feel my legs and arms right now. Err, I mean, I can't move them."

Mike immediately corrected his words when Yukiko picked up a dry twig. He didn't want to be poked with it in his current state.

"If you say so..." Yukiko shrugged her shoulders and walked away.

Meanwhile, Mike looked back up at the night sky and heaved a subtle sigh. 'Ah, why am I here just to suffer? I really can't feel my feet and hands right now.'

After lamenting his current state for a moment, he shook his head. It was pointless to complain when he was aware that all this practice was for himself.
