After the completion of the mill, it soon became a hotspot for the ladies of the village. I understood that this will remain a spot of interest for quite some time until the novelty factor expires. There were just a few soldiers left around the watermill.
The water tank was finally ready after another two weeks. Most residents were concerned about why I had built such a towering structure which could not accommodate anyone. Some even thought that this would be another one of the machines that I am used to making. After Adishri squashed such rumours, she had to explain to everyone the concept of a water tank.
When everyone was made aware that this was to be used for storage of water, they were somewhat sceptical. According to them if we would need water there were always water in the river and wells. There was no reason to waste money and manpower on such a structure. But they still accepted it and never showed their concern to me. It was the belief they had in me.
