The temple was empty from inside. It was dimly lit with lanterns that barely illuminated the ever-present darkness. Her gaze halted over the murals that painted every wall. Now the silver lines appeared to be made of gold and the cold and empty chamber from before felt a little alive.
It was odd and her mind was too tired to try and understand.
She glanced at the empty throne and then looked around more.
There were large curtains that descended down to the four corners and two of them, Nesrin noticed, sheltered the entrance to another chamber.
The indigo heavy curtains slightly swayed with a wind she couldn't feel. It was the hum of mana that was naturally high in the air. Last time she was too uneasy by Ezrahl's presence and then to drawn into his words to notice this peculiarity.
"Is anyone here?"
She raised her voice and it seemed to have faded into the vast emptiness.
