Kapitel 178: Endless Euphoria

Nesrin froze at his words. Her heart raced and her thoughts turned puzzled but when she noticed how the eerie darkness gradually subsided his eyes, how his gaze appeared confused and yet with the hints of light.

There were countless things that she didn't understand about the world but the magic brimming in her veins could feel the sudden odd shift, it was as if a blanket of darkness had lifted from Izekiel.

He still carried his dark aura, the cursed element brewed inside him the same as before but it was not as unsettling.

She almost dared to hope.

"Izekiel--"

"Enough."

He murmured in a rough voice. The slight hints of clarity in his gaze were replaced by something that resembled pain. 

Izekiel's voice softened when he continued, "If you are to become a moroi, mortal flaws will no longer be an issue."

"What after that?"

He offered a slight smile, "No one will be able to take you away from me, not even death."
