Berry sighed on her bed, her phone open above her face as she exchanged messages with Brione and Mitch in their group chat. Unfortunately, she had to break the news that she was unable to attend the royal wedding tomorrow due to her father's condition.

Brione:

[That's okay, Berry. You should stay there and keep watch over your father. The flight here will take time anyway, and you won't be able to get back there as quickly if you actually went. You can just visit some other time whenever you're available.]

Mitch:

[Don't worry. You can't come here when you still have to wrap up some of the unfinished deals in the company anyway.]

Berry pouted as she scoffed, "Ah… so unfair! Who told her to get married there and leave all the work to me?"

Fuming, she immediately typed a reply.

Berry:
