After opening the door, Paul just stood there at the door and just eyed her on the bed, his look was stoic and unreadable.

But Regina knew exactly what he wanted. But she was not ready to give him that after how he treated her confession.

"Come sleep with me."

Regina did not say anything. She was not letting him have his both ways. She was not letting him sleep with her every night but not feel anything for her. He had already pulled her into the darkness once with his kiss, touch, and pretty words. Now he had put distance between them. The moment he did not return her affection, a part of her died. 

She was certain he felt the same way, that his lips would tremble with adoration when he repeated the words. But she only received silence and an awkward look, she was heartbroken. "I like it in here."
