Kapitel 67: Past - 35

"I know you do something illegal." Saying that Regina looked directly into Vulture's eyes, without even blinking once. "I know you make your living doing illegal things. What illegal things do you do?"

Vulture leaned forward, Regina could feel he was intrigued. "Why do you ask?"

"Living here has made me drawn to power. I hate being the victim. I hate being a slave. Everything has made me realize I am not any different from you. I am just on the wrong side."

He had his eyes on her all the time, while she was saying that, he was studying her closely. His eyes were searching her face, looking for something she could not understand. 

She prayed he would not call her out on her grandiose lie and beat the shit out of her right there. Her body was still healing from the trauma those men had put her through. She could not take any more torture. She was sure she would snap.
