"Charmeleonnnn!!"

"Charmander, no, Charmeleon, you finally evolved!"

Chameleon turned back and nodded at him, a never seen before confidence was apparent in his gaze and his attitude was cooler than before.
Arthur also noticed it and when he moved his hand to pat his head, like he usually does, Charmeleon dodged and shook his head.
"Charr!"
His actions clearly showed that he didn't want to be patted. Seeing this, a surge of fear spread throughout Arthur.
'He's not gonna be like Ash's Charmeleon, right?'
He asked himself as he recalled the first few seasons of the Pokemon anime. After evolving, Ash's Charmander had personality changes and his attitude became like a teenager going through puberty.
It had continued even when his Charmeleon had evolved into Charizard and Arthur feared that the same would happen to him.
But that worry was only for a second.
"Charr!"
Charmeleon smiled seeing Arthur's scared face and put out his fist in front of him. Arthur realised what was going on and bumped his fist.
'So, he just doesn't want to be treated as a kid now.'
He thought with a sigh of relief.
He had read about the personality changes that Charmander would usually go through after evolving and it was just like a kid going through puberty before becoming an adult.
The only demerit was their nature will become more vicious and they will seek out more and more battles.
Because of this, there were cases of trainer's Charmeleons getting out of control and creating a mess. But Arthur was sure that he could control that part.
After that, his other Pokemon also came close to Charmeleon and started talking to him. Arthur didn't focus much on their conversation and focused his attention on Murkrow.
He didn't have to worry about the grunts for the time being as they were already passed out. Even Soros had fainted during the evolution.
"You always seem to get hurt."
Arthur muttered as he spread antidote all over Murkrow's body and gave him a pecha berry to eat.
The poison wasn't that strong and it won't take long before its effects will dissipate.
Murkrow lowered his head at his words, disappointed in himself. He had been taken out by a surprise attack and suffered more injuries.
"Don't think too much about it. I know it's not your fault. Just rest for now and get better."
"Kroww!"
Arthur consoled him and Murkrow cheered up a little.
