Kapitel 40: Vines

We could hear the howling made by the gust of wind even though we are inside the maze built by these huge potato-like walls. When we heard it, as if it already became part of our intuition, everyone pulled out their combat knives.

The gust of wind also brought with it a cloud of fog that flows at the top of the maze. And when the wind halted, the sea of fog lingered. It blocks some of the light from the sky making the area a bit dim. Talk about setting up the mood.

They did a great job. The maze which was intimidating due to the size of its walls became more eerie. And though it seems like the temperature remains the same, seeing the change in the area's brightness made it feel a little bit colder.

We are standing at the point of intersection of the T-junction. Though we are not in a line, we are all still holding onto Urick's rope. The four of us also tilted our heads up, looking at the fog that is formed.
