Chakar's hands shook.

He knew victory would be difficult, but he was just realising how difficult it would be.

He had a little over 1500 able-bodied men under his command before the battle for Enakis. However, less than half of that was left.

The others were either dead or too injured to continue the fight.

And this was in a battle they had the numbers advantage.
