<"Hello,"> Luis Vargas, the eldest of Don Mateo Vargas' sons, received a phone call.

He listened as the caller spoke. After they finished their piece, he said,

<"Okay, thanks.">

He dropped the call.

He turned to his father who was seated opposite him behind the study's desk.

<"That was our police contact.">

<"What did he say?"> The Don asked.

<"An interesting incident happened."> He said with an amused smile. <"Police responded to a shootout. When they got there, they found bodies of Hugo's closest men. They believe Hugo was captured by the attackers.">

<"That's interesting. He managed to sneak out of his compound, under our noses, only to get captured. How did the girl find out about his escape route? "> The Don said.
