After giving it a long thought, Lucifer decided to take the decision. His decision came as a surprise to everyone, including Joana, who was expecting Lucifer to stop and talk now. 

He felt that Lucifer did care for the lady, or he wouldn't have stopped initially, but he couldn't understand his decision to attack how.
