Kapitel 422: His Resolve

The world around him was bright unlike the storm in his heart. He couldn't help it. It hurts. So much more than he thought despite already expecting it.

Perhaps, his pain was as deep as  his love for him. Was it a crime? He knew that it wasn't. There was nothing wrong with loving Levi. Heck, the man deserved all the love he could get.

So why then was he hurt so deeply when the inevitable happened? It wasn't like he ever had a chance of being with him. He knew for years that the man had someone he could die for.

Just like he would die for him. Zain sighed. Today, he had no tears to shed. Despite the pain in his heart, he had a smile on his face.

Unbeknownst to him, he had an audience. Levi stood behind him, watching with a heavy heart. He never thought he would feel guilty for not reciprocating someone's love one day.
