Kapitel 373: Epiphany

In a high-end hotel's private room, two figures sat side by side. The floor-to-ceiling glass window provided a perfect view for the pair to look down on the world.

If the air between them wasn't filled with all the tension, the scene would be considered romantic.

Arya gently lifted the kettle and poured tea into her empty cup. She didn't wait for the man to speak, as she silently enjoyed the beverage.

When she left home, she felt a little anxious to meet with the man again. However, sitting opposite him now, she only felt disdain for him.

Alex on the other hand was having a crisis. His body trembled a little his gaze never straying from the woman. She looked more beautiful than he recalled.

Perhaps it was because she was no longer the naive little girl he could play with. The person before him was a mature woman who had gone through hell and back.
