Kapitel 54: A hole in the Bucket

A man sat in a private room of a high-end hotel sipping on a glass of fruit juice. His fingers tapped on the glass table out of boredom. He looked at his watch from time to time, impatiently.

The sound of the door opening came from outside. The man instinctively sat upright and pretended to be busy on his phone as his companion walked inside.

" Hello. I am sorry for keeping you waiting. Something came up this morning that delayed my arrival!"

The young man who has been initially spotted an impatient look stood up respectfully to greet the guest. " Not at all, sir. I didn't wait much. I understand that you are a busy man."

The two shook hands and proceeded to make themselves comfortable.

The middle-aged man who just came in assessed his counterpart. The younger subtly did the same too. An ordinary blond muscular manly man, whose look wasn't too eye-catching. One could only see his charm after looking at him for the second or third time.
