Kapitel 70: 70. The Sacred Darkness.

  That the people were all returned to their various homes. And that their fears had suddenly transpired into anger and the condition they gave to the Eldest Priest still rings yet a bell into his ears; the words that remained in the form of an echo to him. 

But this does not mean that the Eldest Priest had become afraid of the people for he intended to afflict many of them with a disease if indeed they shall bring their sticks and confidence only to destroy his house or the shrine. 

That even with just a finger and also in the desire of the witches which they shall also be willing, shall he rain down what shall beat them from head to toe and never again even in their gnashing of teeth shall not be confident but remain bowed at the shrine before the witches.
