Kapitel 34: The World is Weak
"I was bored when I taught the humans magic, but did you think that I made it so that everyone can use it. It seems that some of your celestial brain has already melted into a pool of fudge due to being bound to human flesh for a long time. Remember that I am still higher in the celestial order than you." Adrian stated in a normal tone after he used his aura.
"It still does not excuse you for teaching forbidden knowledge to the humans. You do know that The Watchers were punished for meddling with human civilization.
You know that we represent something in the universe which is why the watchers were not erased from existence but if the others know this then you might get hunted." Joe stated what really is on his mind.
"Let them do what they want. They have not found me for eons at least they are now growing a pair of balls." Adrian replied.
"Are you not afraid that they might trace the source of magic to you? All the originators of magic will be able to trace the origins to a celestial and if that happened then the demons would also intervene. If they find out that we are messing with the mortal realm then they too will think that they are entitled to also come to this universe." Joe rebutted but it only made Adrian giggle.
"Let me tell you what I am really afraid of. I am afraid that the old gods will return and this time they destroy everything even with my sacrifice. The last time that I battled with the old gods, we lost because we do not have enough firepower. I am just balancing the scales as that is one of my purpose because the world is weak." Adrian replied.
"Your purpose as the light bringer or the purpose of the other two?" Joe asked as he is still not sure what is Adrian's end goal. The intense sense of preserving the world is making him not trust him as much as he wanted to.
"I already told you. There is only me because we are one. Let me tell you something that I never told anyone except Michael." Adrian stated as he whispered something into Joe's ear that made the latter utterly shocked.

"I seriously cannot believe that we got ordered to move stuff for him." Dustan stated but he knew that Joe was pretty serious earlier. He just became livid at the fact that Adrian is being scolded. For some unknown reason, that guy always had a counter argument at him which he did not like.
"Hey…I think it's great that we are helping him fit in, but Jihan needs to get treatment. I am pretty sure that you got hurt internally…again." Whiz stated as he placed the things that he carried outside of Adrian's room.
"I agree. You may hide you pained expression, but your aura tells otherwise. Thanks for carrying my stuff by the way." Adrian stated which surprised the three that brought his things.
"Are you a ghost or something? You almost scared me to death." Whiz stated as he is faint hearted.
"Sorry about that. Also, Joe said that we will have a meeting an hour from now. Apparently there have been new cases of mass murders." Adrian reported as he carried his stuff inside his room.
Adrian took out everything that he bought and arranged them piece by piece. Every time that he awakens, he always buys something that represents him. He bought a crystal globe that represents this world. Glow in the dark starts to decorate his ceiling so that something shines at night. A lava lamp that has white wax and dark waters.
In every incarnation, the items make him feel complete in a sense as it anchors him to the real world. If he did not do that then he just might forget living and bring utter destruction to the world. Adrian once again tried to contact Gaia, but she is not responding as if she is being blocked by something.
"It is time for the meeting." Someone knocked at the door to inform Adrian that they should now head to the meeting room.
"I should just try again later then. It is not like it is the first time that 'mother' did not respond. She must be resting herself as it has not been long since the reset." Adrian stated as he headed out to the meeting room.

"How was the mission? Did something unforeseen happen?" Joe asked everyone as they are now complete.
"If being attacked by hooded assailants for this emblem then I could just say that everything is peachy." Esme stated as she pointed at the moon disk on the table.
"We also got attacked in a sense when we visited the King of Hell's place." Dustan stated as he placed the talisman that was given to them on the table.
"You guys went to hell?!" Everyone but Joe exclaimed.
"We went to the King of Hell's place not hell itself." Dustan stated.
"Did the devil look like a goat like the depictions?" Whiz asked.
"Did the devil like wanted your soul as a payment?" Esme asked as she too became curious.
"The devil does not look like a goat, and we did not meet the actual devil. We met Enma-o…well more like I met him since Dustan passed out just by seeing the guy." Adrian retorted the wild understanding that that he looks like a goat.
"Who is this Enma-o? Also, it is not that I am belittling you but how come you did not faint?" Esme asked as she is not familiar but both Whiz and Jihan is familiar with the name. They did not expect that Enma-o is actually real and not just stories.
"Dustan has yet to see anything supernatural that powerful before that is why he fainted. I know because that is what happened when I saw a Kapre for the first time. I am telling you from experience, it is not pleasant." Adrian stated.
"That is enough or supernatural class for now. I am glad that all of you are safe. The thing that I am worried about is the groups that attacked you. It cannot just be a coincidence that they tried to attack you guys." Joe stated as the atmosphere of the room became heavy.
