Mom's face was etched with a mixture of worry and anger, while dad was just a bit of annoyed that he got dragged all the way from Massachusetts to California.

I knew dad was not the type to make things worse than they actually are, but mom always had her way and dad was just not into arguing with her.

If dad had known first that we ditched the driver, he would have just called and told us to take care and be wise with who we go out with.

He was the cool type of dad, that I could guarantee.

Dad was just adamant on the family driver because he knew mom would have gone berserk on him.

Closer and closer they inched towards us and I grabbed Becky by her hand, pulled her close so she could see what I was seeing.

"MOM! DAD!" she squeaked like an entrapped mouse.

"Oh dear, you sound so guilty, Becky." Suzy quipped behind us.

Well, it would look like we were definitely mouse on a cheese trap with the situation we were in now.
