Halora widened her eyes when a sharp, small thing pricked deeply into her stomach. Her blood stopped flowing into her veins as she listened to the thumping sound of her heart.

No one ever knew how it felt like, but she was certain it was a severe wound.

And the only thing she knew is to glance up at Sebastian who wanted to kill Maxine.

She smiled, reached for his arms and stopped him from transforming into a fatal beast. It would be too dangerous for him.

"Don't… d-don't do it, Sebastian. Let's go back home… let's go back home i-in-instead." she weakly whispered to his chest that controlled his burning anger.

Sebastian couldn't forgive Maxine if Halora would be in the brink of death. He won't let her slip away, living a happy life after trying to kill his girlfriend.

For one, las time, he turned his head and stared at Maxine's poker face. Under the velvet night, he gritted his teeth, stared at her for a few seconds.
